Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 WILDS: Tips to find and ride a Raptor in the game

Ride in style though the jungle!

Fortnite has now made its latest Chapter 4 Season 3 live and it comes along with a whole new Jurassic theme. The season started recently, and one of the most exciting additions is the introduction of Raptors into the game. The eggs of these raptors are buried under the new jungle biome which is also one of the latest additions in the Fortnite map. Players can find, tame, and ride a raptor in the game, and here’s how one can do it.

How to find Raptor in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

Players who want to ride the Raptor will first need to find its eggs as there’s no other way of getting hold of a raptor other than hatching its eggs. Now the problem with this is it’s tougher to find a raptor egg than it looks like.

They even change their spawn locations in every other game so players can’t expect to find another egg in another match from where they might have found an egg in some other match. Some of the locations where the probability of finding a raptor egg is more than normal are.

  • The southeast corner of the map is beside a small temple.
  • On a hill South of Creeky Compound
  • Northeast side of Rumble Ruins

After the player has successfully found a raptor egg, the next part becomes relatively easy as they just need to hatch the egg. To hatch it, all the players need to do is walk over close enough to the egg and click on the interact button and wait till the egg hatches successfully.

Once hatched, players will be automatically placed on the back of the raptor and they will be able to ride it successfully throughout the map. If one ever comes across an already hatched wild raptor, they can feed it with wild boar meat and then sneak up behind them and click on the interact button to tame them.

If players are wondering if they can own more than one raptor in the same match, the short answer will be no. Even if someone is able to come across two raptor eggs in the same match and hatch them successfully, the first raptor which has already hatched will start fighting with the second one and they won’t stop unless the player eliminates the first raptor. So players are recommended to not try this out as it’ll be completely useless.
