Fortnite Mobile: Tips to get unbanned in the game

Do you think you didn’t deserve to banned?

Fortnite is a fast-paced action-based Battle Royale game from Epic Games. Here 100 players need to fight against each other to survive till the end to win a match. Over the years, millions of people have joined the game and played it daily. Many people get banned from the game wrongfully or because of innocent mistakes and they truly don’t deserve to stay banned as they had no real malicious intent. In this guide, we will talk about a few ways in which players can get themselves unbanned from Fortnite.

Anyone can get banned in Fortnite for a lot of reasons. To get themselves unbanned, they need to know the reason for the ban in the first place so that they can take the correct steps forward. Fortnite can impose a ban for several reasons such as toxicity, account sharing, AFKing, unruly behavior in chat rooms, cheating, using a VPN, or even teaming up with other players in solo matches. A ban can last from anywhere 30 days or less to even forever. Here is the list of the different types of bans that can take place in the game.

1. Epic Games Account bans

If a ban like this is imposed upon a player, it means they can’t use their account on any device, any IP, or any location anymore. All the skins, achievements, and stats of the players are locked and will not be retrievable unless they can get themselves unbanned.

2. IP bans

These kinds of bans restrict a particular IP address and nobody can use it anymore to play Fortnite from any device or account as long as they are using the same IP.

3. Hardware bans

As the name suggests, the hardware will not be able to run Fortnite anymore and if the player wants to play again, they will need to use a whole different device.

There are several ways to still carry on playing even after you are banned. It varies according to the reason why the player got banned in the first place. If someone is completely confident that the ban imposed upon them is wrong and they are not guilty, they can submit an appeal to Epic Games to unban their account. Here are the steps on how to do it.

  • Step 1: Go to the Epic Games website.
  • Step 2: Click on Contact Us.
  • Step 3: Click on the login button, and enter account details. Get redirected to the ticket submission form.
  • Step 4: Fill in the display name and email address linked with the Fortnite account.
  • Step 5: Choose the device on which the ban got imposed.
  • Step 6: Explain why you should be unbanned.
  • Step 7: Submit the request.

Another not-so-ethical way to continue playing if the IP has got banned is by using a VPN to change the IP address. This is a very easy and quick method to bypass a ban and many players use it, though it may lead to a permanent ban so anyone who tries to do this should do it at their own risk.
