To reach the boss, you should use a portal on the very top of Jinren Island. There is an Electrogranum mechanism right under the portal, which you can use to get there.
The other way to reach there is by completing the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual World Quest, which will unlock a Teleport Waypoint near the boss.

The boss is as powerful as other elementary hypostases and uses various attacks. However, most of them are easily dodgeable. There are two attacks that can deal a ton of damage, and it is advised to be careful of those. One is a Laser Attack that will follow the player and deal a lot of damage. Before it initiates these attacks, it takes some time to charge. In the other attack, the boss will go up in the air and target the player before slamming down on them.
After a certain time, the boss will take on the Defensive Mode regardless of the damage done to it. It will form an invulnerable shield and summon four Ruin Sentinels. One of the Sentinels will have glowing runes on them and the HP bar, that’s the one players have to defeat in order to end the boss’s Defensive Mode. Other Sentinels can’t be damaged. However, attacking their weak points at certain times will disable them for a bit.
A useful strategy to use against these Sentinels is to use Frozen Reaction, since they share the boss’s level, they are quite powerful, and they can overwhelm the player with heavy attacks. Once the Defensive Mode ends, the boss’s main body becomes vulnerable. However if the player is unable to defeat it in its weakened state, then the Sentinels rejoin the main body to become complete again. The respawn time for the Perpetual Mechanical Array is 3 minutes.
Drops
The boss mainly drops the Perpetual Heart, which is a Character Ascension Material. Along with Prithiva Topaz Gemstone and Shivada Jade Gemstone, these gemstones are quite rare. However, the smaller variants of these which are chunks drop quite frequently. There is a hidden achievement that can be obtained by not defeating the Sentinels in the Defensive Mode. The boss will get out of its Defensive Mode on its own after some time. However, it won’t be stunned and will be in complete form. This may take a while, so take your shields and healing characters.
