Genshin Impact 2.4 update is arriving very soon with its vast array of upcoming events and a number of new character banners. The new region of the 2.4 update in Genshin Impact, Enkanomiya has a new World Quest in Kunado’s Trial. This quest is part of Erebos’ Secret Quest. In order to unlock Kunado’s Trial, one must complete the ”Entrance to Tokyo” and ”The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent” world quests. The Serpent’s Heart area in Genshin Impact is linked to Kunado’s Trial or Kunado’s Locus. Genshin Impact Kunado’s Trial World Quest: Steps
Finding the Kunado’s Trial
Players must visit Serpent’s Heart in Enkanomiya, ensuring Evernight is active. In Serpent’s Heart, players will find the shade of Eboshi at the northern fast travel point. Players talk with the shade and take the challenge. On Enkanomiya’s map, three islands will be spawned. Furthermore, three new subquests will be assigned.
- Yachimatahiko’s Trial
- Kunado’s Trial
- Yachimatahime’s Trial
Enter island via ghostfish
These three islands on the map’s edges can only be reached via the Ghostfish portal, which can only be accessed via the map’s edges. The Ghostfish portals are located in the water pools. Players will have to travel to the closest Teleport Waypoint and move to the pool.
In order to activate the glide, players must jump to the Ghostfish portal, in the middle of the pool. The player must stay within the surrounding radius of the Ghostfish’s effect, which will gradually float him upward. Once the player enters the portal, he will be transported to the corresponding floating island. The players can travel to three different floating islands, via three different Ghostfish portals.
The Kunado’s Trial begins
Players must go to the Serpents’ heart and locate the Ghostfish portal pool of the Kunado’s Trial. The player will face many Bathysmal Vishaps close to the pool. To glide, jump into the Ghostfish portal. Through a portal, players will reach Kunado’s Locus.
Pyro Torch Maze
When the player lands on Kunado’s Locus, an afterimage of Daimon will appear. They must talk to him and activate the Trial, releasing all of the four Flames of the High Gate. Markers will direct players to the correct location on the island.
At the entrance lies a temple-like structure, adorned with four imposing statues and a switching mechanism for day and night. Players must activate the two Pyro Torches, that appear when they switch to Whitenight, by interacting with the mechanism. Once they are back in Evernight, they must activate the remaining two Pyro Torches.
Going through the battle waves
Players will face four waves as follow:
- 1st Wave: Rifthound Whelps x 4
- 2nd Wave: Pyro Abyss Mage x 1, Electro Abyss Mage x 1 and Hydro Abyss Mage x1
- 3rd Wave: Primordial Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling x 1 & Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap Hatchling x 1
- 4th Wave: Hydro Abyss Herald x 1
The end with the Flame of the High Gate
Upon completing the battle sequence, the four statues will become available. By climbing each statue and interacting with it, the player releases the Flame of the High Gate, fulfilling their objective. Finally, you should talk to the shade at the next tower quest marker. The Kunado’s Trial quest will now be completed in Genshin Impact 2.4.
