Genshin Impact Midsummer Island Adventure event will occur at the Golden Apple Archipelago. It is a group of faraway islands where you can move between them by using a Waverider (Boat). These islands are exclusive to Genshin Impact 1.6 update, so these islands will be gone once a new patch comes in. So make sure to explore everywhere.
How to unlock the Midsummer Island Adventure event in Genshin Impact
- Players must be at least Adventurer Rank 21
- Players must have completed the Archon Quest- “Song of The Dragon and Freedom”
- Klee’s story quest- “True Treasure” must be completed
Midsummer Island Adventure Overview
This event will have four acts, each act will have different smaller events, mini-games, bosses.

Main Cannon, Make Ready…Fire!
The main objective of this mini-game is to destroy hilichurl structures and kill the enemies. Waveraider weapon’s can be used to take down structures and when required, you will need to get out of the waverider and deal with the enemies in the old-fashioned way. There are whirlpools around the structures that will deal damage to the waverider, so stay away from them. A stamina replenishing orb can also be found which will instantly give some stamina to steer the waverider.
Reward for this event is Shiny Flotsam, which is the shop currency for buying various stuff from the limited event shop.
The shop includes Crown of Insight, Talent-books, Furnishing-Blueprints and a new item Northlander Billet Trove. This new item allows you to choose a billet of your liking.
Whirlpool off to Starboard… Full Speed Ahead!
In this event, players will need to navigate a course while gliding. These challenges can be reached through the Waverider on the sea. And once initiated, they will need to collect as many Wavesplitter Insignias as they can, while navigating the course to gain a higher score.
Rewards: Players should try to complete the course as fast as they can and collect more Wavesplitter Insignias as the final points depend on them.

Samurai Sighted… To Arms!
Players can challenge a new boss, Maguu Kenki, For rewards. Find his location on the map and then challenge him, successfully defeating him will grant you rewards, which includes Primogems, mora and more.
Harpastum Bombs Loaded… Blow ‘Em Away!
This is the final act for this event. Players can craft Harpastum Bombs which can be thrown at enemies to defeat them. Completing this mini-game awards you with Mini Harpasta. This is the other shop currency which can be used to exchange for various stuff in the shop. The shop includes Klee’s supposedly signature weapon Dodoco Tales along with Weapon Ascension materials, Furnishing-Blueprints, Mora and more..
Genshin Impact Midsummer Island Adventure Waverider overview
This boat is exclusive to Genshin Impact Midsummer Island Adventure event and will be unlocked as soon as the players arrive on the island. It has a HP gauge which takes damage when attacked by enemies and also by whirlpool. Once destroyed it will force the character out, but they won’t take any damage. There is no ammo limit, but only a cooldown period after each attack. There is a regular attack and a heavy one which does tons of damage. Players can use heavy attacks for breaking the structures easily.
