Sea of Fertility is a hidden quest in Genshin Impact. The quest is named after the achievement it grants upon completion. The quest is not marked on the mini-map, nor does it appear in the journal. The quest is triggered after talking to the associated NPC.
How to unlock and start the Sea of Fertility Hidden Quest in Genshin Impact
Here are the steps to start and complete the quest easily:
Purifying Amrita Flowers
Go to this location in the Vourukasha Oasis and talk to Sefana.
Suntaya Flower location 1
After talking to Sefana, turn around and you should see some Sunyata flowers.
Use Sorush and approach the flowers one by one to make them bloom. A bunch of floating orange leaves will appear, collect them. This will spawn more Sunyata flowers, approach them all one by one. Keep doing this until flowers have spawned and bloomed all over the pattern on the ground. Once it is done, a Luxurious chest will spawn.
The bloomed Sunyata flowers will attract Amrita Mayflies.
- Shoot at them to stun them, then use Sorush to absorb them
- Fly to a bloomed Sunyata flower to purify it
You will have to repeat this process several times until all the bloomed Sunyata flowers are purified. Please note: the Amrita Mayflies only appear at night, so you might have to change the time. Purifying all of the flowers will spawn a Precious chest. The job here is done.
Sunyata Flower location 2
Go to this location in the Vourukasha Oasis.
Here you will have to repeat the same process. When you start blooming the Sunyata flowers, you will have to do the outer part of the pattern on the ground first. Or else the puzzle will not be solved. This is not necessary while purifying them using the Amrita Mayflies. Just like the previous location, this one will also spawn a Luxurious and Precious chest.
Sunyata Flower location #3
Go to this location in the Vourukasha Oasis.
The process here is the same as before, except you need to start blooming the Sunyata flowers from the inner part of the pattern on the ground. At one point you will have to collect floating orange leaves. Like the previous locations, this one will also spawn a Luxurious and Precious chest.
Reporting to Sefana
Once you are done with all three locations, return and talk to Sefana. This will bring an end to this hidden quest.
Genshin Impact Sea of Fertility Hidden Quest completion Rewards
Each Luxurious and Precious chest gives 10 and 5 Primogems, for a total of 45. Talking to Sefana, in the end, will give 20 Primogems as well.
