Shared Sight is an animal-rescuing event in Genshin Impact Version 3.8 Update. The event starts on the 3rd of August, 2023, and will last till the 14th of August, 2023. Players need to be at or above Adventure Rank 20 to access this event. In this guide, we will cover the Shared Sight event in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Shared Sight Event Overview
The event will be available from the Events page. Navigate the quest and talk to Lamiya. Players will obtain the Inscribed Mirror. This is the gadget used in this event. The gadget can only be used during a challenge. There are 6 challenges in total. The first one unlocks on the first day, then one new challenge unlocks every following day.
Genshin Impact Shared Sight Gameplay Guide and Tips
Go to the Events page and select a Shared Sight challenge. It will mark the starting location of the challenge on your map. Interacting with the wooden plaque will start the challenge.
The goal of the challenge is to look at the world from an animal’s perspective, then figure out where that animal is and rescue it. This event uses the knowledge about the geographical make-up of the world that is gained from exploring. Do not worry, for each challenge you will only have to work with a small area, not the entire map of Teyvat. There will also be additional Four-Leaf Clovers to speed up movement.
When the challenge starts, you can equip and use the Inscribed Mirror to temporarily see through the eyes of the animal you are trying to rescue. You can rotate the viewing angle. Watch out for any landmarks like the Statue of the Seven or a teleport waypoint.
Exit the view and try to find the location of the animal. Once you get close enough, the animal will be marked on your screen. Get close to it and rescue it. Using the gadget again will show you the view of the next animal you need to rescue. Repeat until all animals for that challenge are rescued.
Genshin Impact Shared Sight Event Rewards
Completing each challenge of Shared Sight will reward players with:
- 70 Primogems
- Weapon Ascension materials
- Hero’s Wits
- Mora
Completing the final challenge will reward players with 1500 Battle Pass EXP. The Battle Pass EXP obtained from this challenge does not count towards the weekly experience limit of 10,000 BP EXP.
