C1: Purifying Wind
An additional charge for her Skil results in more particle generation. It also helps with stacking her Ascension 1 passive’s buff.
C2: Aloof From the World
Using level 2 or 3 versions of her Skill increases her ATK by 20%. Moreover, her Ascension 4 passive will provide a DMG increase of 400% of Xianyun’s ATK, as opposed to the regular 200%.
C3: Creations of Star and Moon
Three additional levels to her Burst is a small increase in her healing potential.
C4: Mystery Millet Gourmet
Xianyun heals the entire party based on the number of her skills used before plunging. This acts as an additional source of healing.
C5: Astride Rose-Colored Clouds
Three additional levels to her Burst is a small increase to its DMG.
C6: They Call Her Cloud Retainer
This is her most impactful constellation which turns her into an on-field DPS. First of all, her Skill will not enter cooldown while her Burst is active. She can spam her Skill during her Burst. However, this is restricted to a total of 8 uses of her Skill.
This restriction counts the final plunge of her Skill, it does not count the level 2 and 3 versions of her Skill for this restriction. Second of all, her Skill plunge CRIT DMG will be increased based on the number of times the Skill was used before plunging.
Final Thoughts
If you plan to play Xianyun as a buffer/healer, then her C2 is the best stopping point. However, if you are a whale and want to max out her DMG potential, you should go for her C6. It is important to note that she does not need constellations to be good, they simply improve her already amazing buffing and DMG potential.
