Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Update: How to Get 17,360+ Primogems for free

Genshin Impact Version 6.3 launches on January 14, 2026, and will end on February 25, 2026.  Free-to-play players should take advantage of the new update and collect those free Primogems. This guide provides the players with a rough estimate of how many free Primogems any individual may obtain if they play all the content of the Genshin Impact 6.3 update.

How to Get 17,360+ Primogems for free in Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Update

1. Daily Commissions

The patch will run for six whole weeks as usual. We can get 60 Primogems for a total of 42 days if we complete our daily commissions on time before the daily reset hits. A total of 2520 Primogems (42 x 60) can be obtained that way.

2. Spiral Abyss

The Spiral Abyss resets every 30 days from Floor 8 to Floor 12. If you can complete Spyral Abyss floor 12-3, then you can get 800 Primogems after every reset. Spyral Abyss will reset twice during the Version 6.3 Update. A total of 1600 Primogems can be obtained in this patch’s Spiral Abyss resets.

3. Imaginarium Theater

Imaginarium Theater will reset once during Version 6.3. If you can complete Imaginarium Theater Visionary Mode, then you can get 1000 Primogems from every Theatre reset. We can get 1000 Primogems in this patch’s Imaginarium Theater resets.

4. Paimon’s Bargains Shop (Stardust Exchange)

In Paimon’s Bargains Shop, there is a section called Stardust Exchange where you can purchase  5 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates in exchange for Stardust. The Shop resets every month, so make sure you buy the Fates before that.

During this update period, the Paimon Bargains shop will reset once. We can obtain 5 Intertwined Fates (800 Primogems) in the update during the February 2026 reset.

5. HoYoLAB Daily Check-In

Genshin Impact has a Daily Check-In reward system each month at their HoYoLAB website, where you can obtain a total of 60 primogems just by checking in the HoYoLAB App or Website.

Complete the whole month to acquire 60 primogems each month. During this period, you can get 120 Primogems.

6. Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Maintenance Compensation

When a new patch update hits, Genshin Impact takes a few hours (mainly around 5 hours) for maintenance of the update. After maintenance is done, you can log in to enjoy the fresh new patch update and also receive compensation in their Mail for the maintenance (600 primogems).

7. Genshin Impact Version 6.3 Livestream

During the Livestream, HoYoverse brought out three Codes to redeem, where each code rewards you with 100 primogems. We can obtain 300 Primogems that way. Be sure to redeem the codes as soon as possible, as they expire within 16 to 24 hours. You can check all the Genshin redeem codes here.

8. Test Runs

Each five-star character’s banner has a test run where you can check out the playable characters and how they function. After completing the Test Runs, you can claim 20 Primogems plus ascension materials for those test run characters.

The new limited characters, Columbina and Zibai, will be released along with re-run characters, Ineffa and Neuvillette, during the 6.3 update. You can obtain 80 Primogems that way.

9. Exploration and Offerings

With the release of a new map, we also get new places to explore and new statues and waypoints to unlock. New offering system and level-up rewards for the Statue of the Seven. An estimation of all the exploration content brings us to around 2500 Primogems.

10. Limited Events and Stygian Onslaught

Here is a list of all the limited events we will be getting during the 6.3 update patch:

• Stygian Onslaught (450 Primogems)
• Shutterflash Memory Hunt Event (420 Primogems)
• A Lanternlit Ode to the Silver Moon Event (1060 Primogems)
• Moonlit Patrol Exercise Event (420 Primogems)

We can get 2350 Primogems in total from this event.

11. World Quests and Archon Quests

A new update means new Quests to complete, whether they are World Quests, Archon Quests, or Story Quests. The new 6.3 Update has many quest content that you can play and immerse yourself in the story. Here is a complete breakdown of the new quests and the estimated Primogems that you can receive from this permanent content. 

• Genshin Impact Archon Quests (590 Primogems and 2 Intertwine fates)
• World Quest and Story Quest (480 Primogems)

12. Achievements

More achievement tasks are added to the new update of the game, including a whole new Achievement Category due to the new Region, Quests, and Exploration points being added in the game, as well as other additions to the expansion, which entail more achievements. After completing all achievements, we will get 290 Primogems.

13. Lantern Rite

Like every year, we will get 20 Pulls from Lantern Rite. From daily login, we will get 10 intertwined fates, and we will receive 1600 Primogems via in-game Mail.

Maximum Primogems obtainable in Genshin Impact Version 6.3

Total Primogems = 17,360 Primogems (Approx. ~106 Intertwined Fates)

Therefore, as a Free-To-Play (F2P) Player, the total amount of free Primogems you would obtain is 17,360 Primogems (approx. 106 Free Intertwined Fates)

Please note that this is just an estimated calculation. The actual Primogems number can vary a lot from this estimated amount.
