The latest mini-game in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, called Batter Up, will be live from May 30th, as part of the ‘Lord for Justice’ story update. The mini-games are pretty fun to play, and this gives you a sporty inclusion to it, so let’s head into the details.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Batter Up Baseball Mini Game explained
I think it is pretty evident what we are going to have with this event. As mentioned in the title, this event focuses on Baseball gameplay, but NIKKE style. This will be a limited-period event and will run from May 30 to June 19th, 2025.
How to Play
The Batter Up mini-game in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a fun baseball-themed side event where you swing the bat and try to score points by hitting pitches. Now, this isn’t an in-game event, you have to access it via the official website.
Log in with your Level Infinite pass to begin the game. Make sure to select the correct server and then your nickname. Once ready, you click on Start, and it will take you to the game screen.
Gameplay
You play through multiple innings, trying to hit as many balls as you can. Every successful hit gives you points. If you miss three times, that round ends. The gameplay is similar to what you play in other baseball titles; the right time to swing is when the ball enters the strike zone.
You earn stars based on your performance. You get 1 star just for finishing the round. If you score at least 20 points, you’ll earn 2 stars. To get the full 3 stars, you need to score 30 points or more. The event also keeps track of your progress through an Achievements Board.
In Story Mode, it shows how many stages you’ve cleared, how many stars you’ve earned, and your total score. In Challenge Mode, it records the highest number of innings you’ve played, the total home runs you’ve hit, and your best single score.
Rewards Earned
There’s also a webpage sharing event where you can enter for a chance to win physical merchandise, such as the Nikke Baseball Cap and Blanc Acrylic Stand.
As part of the NIKKE AT BAT! event, a BASEBALL PASS is also live now. With this pass, Blanc gets a new costume called No. 77 Batter, which even comes with a full voice-over. Noir also gets a new Baseball Cheerleader outfit, which you can get via login for 7 days during the event.
