Noah’s Heart: The complete Ability and Runes Guide and Tips

Find out what each ability does and use them wisely

Noah’s Heart is a sci-fi MMORPG game developed by Archosaur Games using Unreal Engine 4. In this game, players can freely roam around and explore the world of “Noah” as it is an open world map. Players will meet various NPCs and monsters along their journey in this world and they’ll have to fight against the obstacles using either their own character or Phantoms which are based on historical figures. In this Noah’s Heart ability and runes guide, we are going to learn about all the different kinds of abilities and runes available in this game and their various uses. The 7 abilities are namely Soft Breeze, Void, Pure Water, Blaze, Flowing Light, Shadow, and Thunder. Let’s see what each of them has to offer one by one.

Introducing the Ability and Runes in Noah’s Heart

1. Soft Breeze

One of the very first abilities a player can unlock in this game is this one. The four runes from this ability are namely Healing, First Aid, Nutritional Care, and Reciprocation, and here’s how each of them works:

  • Healing: This rune has the Basic Healing Effect which unlocks first at level 20 and immediately restores 10 percent of the player’s HP at once and then restores 1 percent HP per second for the next 10 seconds. Then on its next level, it unlocks the ability to restore 11 percent HP at once and 1.1 percent HP per second for every 10 seconds.
  • First Aid: This rune has the ability to restore HP immediately by a large amount and extend its CD by 30s. This can be unlocked at level 29 and on the next level of the rune, it can restore the health about 20 percent at once.

  • Nutritional Case: This one has the ability to restore health slowly over 25 seconds and also multiply the healing effect by 1.25. This rune can be unlocked at level 57 and in its next level, it can restore 1 percent HP every second and last for 25 seconds.
  • Reciprocation: This rune gives the player the ability to restore their health every time they are attacked and the CD is also decreased by 30 seconds.  Players need to be at level 85 or up to learn this ability and the next upgrade of the rune will restore HP by 2.5 percent when being attacked and will for 10 seconds.

2. Shadow

This ability unlocks at level 17 and has four runes known as Weaken, Suppression, Curse Mark, and Bandage, and here’s how each of them works:

  • Weaken: This rune has the Basic Weaken Effect and is the first rune that is unlocked after reaching level 17. Its next upgrade weakens all the enemies within the 5 meters range around the player and also decreases their Move SPD and DMG dealing capacity by 25 percent for a span of 7 seconds.
  • Suppression: This one has the ability to lower the Spot Weakness of the opponents. It can be unlocked at level 45 and the next level of the rune inflicts a Weaken Effect to all the enemies in the 5 meters radius around the plus while decreasing their ability to deal DMG by 25 percent and their Spot Weakness by 50 percent for 7 seconds.

  • Curse Mask: This rune inflicts a Pride Curse upon the opponent and can be learned at level 73. On its next upgrade, it can inflict the same curse to all the enemies in the player’s 5 meters radius and also cut off their links with their Phantoms, making it impossible to use their skills or summon them for 7 seconds.
  • Bandage: It has the ability to double the infliction range and slow effect on the player. This can be learned at level 101 and with the next upgrade, it can inflict the Weaken Effect upon all the enemies within the player’s 10 meters range and also decrease their Move SPD by 50 percent for 7 seconds.

3. Void

This ability unlocks at level 21 and its variations are Overload, Inspiration, Maxed Out and Berserk. Here’s how each of them works:

  • Overload: This one has the Basic Overload Effect and is the first to get unlocked at level 21. With an upgrade, it increases the DMG Boost Multiplier by 50 percent for a span of 12 seconds. After the effect expires, the Multiplier decreases by 50 percent for 12 seconds.
  • Inspiration: It affects the HP and the DMG Boost Multiplier of the opponent. This rune can be unlocked at level 49 and after upgrading, it increases the HP to 100 percent immediately then decreases for over 10 seconds to 130 percent of the lost HP but it’s guaranteed to not kill the character.

  • Maxed Out: This one affects the Stamina of the enemies and unlocks at level 77. Furthermore, it can decrease stamina by 100 percent for a span of 12 seconds and when the effect expires, the stamina drops to 0 and the Recovery Rate also decreases by 60 percent for 15 seconds.
  • Berserk: This rune affects the Super Crit and Crit rate and can be learned at level 105. With an upgrade, it increases the Super Crit and Crit rate by 25 percent for 12 seconds and after the effect expires, the rate decreases by 50 percent for another 12 seconds.

4. Flowing Light

This ability unlocks at level 25 of Ave Mirror and is divided into four parts namely Haste, Blink, Fortitude, and Windbound. Here’s the way in which each of them works:

  • Haste: It has the Basic Haste Effect and is the first one to be unlocked at this level. With an upgrade, the Move SPD increases by 40 percent for 12 seconds.
  • Blink: This one gives the player the ability to teleport immediately but decreases swiftness by 50 percent. It can be learned at level 53 and a level up provides the ability to dash forward for 10 meters but not on terrains. It also increases Move SPD by 20 percent for 12 seconds at the same time.

  • Fortitude: This makes the player immune to Stiffness and Knockback while the swiftness lasts but also increases the DEF break received. It unlocks at level 81 and with a level up it increases the Move SPD by 20 percent along with the immunity to Stiffness and Knockback. But the DEF Break received is also increased to 100 percent for 12 seconds.
  • Windbound: This rune slows down enemies but also decreases swiftness by 50 percent. It can be learned at level 109 and the next upgrade increases the Move SPD by 20 percent and also slows down all enemies within the 5 meters radius by 20 percent for a span of 12 seconds.

5. Blaze

This ability has runes named Ignite, Meltdown, Nova, and Sacrifice. Here’s how each of them works respectively:

  • Ignite: This rune has the Basic Ignite Effect and it can be inflicted upon all the enemies within the 5 meters radius around the player, which deals 30 percent of ATK Fire DMG per second and decreases their healing received by 40 percent for 6 seconds. With an upgrade, it can inflict the effect to all the enemies within the 5 meters radius and deal 33 percent of ATK Fire DMG per second and decrease the opponent’s healing received by 43.5 percent for a span of 6 seconds.
  • Meltdown: This one increases the damage inflicted upon the target and can be learned at level 33. When the rune is leveled up, it can inflict the Ignite effect on every enemy within the 5 meters radius and deal 30 percent of ATK Fire DMG per second and increase the damage that they receive by 20 percent for 6 seconds.

  • Nova: By using this, players can deal high explosive damage to the target. It unlocks at level 61 and with an upgrade, this rune can make the nova explode, thus dealing in 170 percent of ATK Fire DMG to every enemy present within the 5 meters range and also knocking them down for 1.5 seconds.
  • Sacrifice: This rune costs the player his own HP which gets triggered on attacks and can be learned on level 89. With an upgrade, it costs 20 percent of the amount of HP the player would have at the moment to inflict a Weak Ignite effect on the opponent which can only be triggered once per second while dealing in 7.5 percent of ATK Fire DMG per second and also decreasing the opponent’s healing received by 15 percent for 6 seconds.

6. Pure Water

This ability unlocks at level 13 of the Ave’s Mirror and the runes are known as Shield, Blessing, Brambles, and Heavy Shield respectively. Here’s how each of them works:

  • Shield: This rune is the Basic Shield Effect and can be unlocked at the first level itself. With a level up, the player gains a shield that absorbs damage equivalent to 40 percent of Max HP for 8 seconds.
  • Blessing: This one helps the player to gain immunity to control the effect whole the shield still exists but the damage which can be absorbed also gets reduced. It unlocks at level 41 and with a further level up players gain a shield that absorbs damage equivalent to 20 percent of the Max HP for 8 seconds while also gaining the ability to control the effect while the shield still exists.

  • Brambles: This rune deals Counterattack DMG to the attacker upon being hit while the shield still exists and the CD is also extended by 30 seconds. It can be learned at level 69 and at the next level of the rune, the player gains a shield that absorbs damage up to 40 percent of the Max HP for 6 seconds while also dealing 75 percent of ATK PDMG to the attacker when hit.
  • Heavy Shield: With the help of this rune, the damage absorbed by the shield increases to 50 percent but also decreases the user’s own Move SPD by 50 percent while the shield still exists. It can be unlocked at level 97 and with a level up, the shield absorbs damage up to 60 percent of the Max HP for 8 seconds but also decreases one’s own Move SPD by 50 percent while the shield still exists.

7. Thunder

This ability unlocks at level 9 of Ave’s Mirror and its runes include Energize, Storage, Energy-saving, and Drain. Here’s how each of them works respectively:

  • Energize: This rune has the Basic Energize Effect and is the first one that can be learned for this ability. Its next level restores 6 percent stamina every second for the next 15 seconds.
  • Storage: This one no longer restores the stamina slowly and can be unlocked at level 37. With its next upgrade, this rune can restore stamina immediately by 60 percent.

  • Energy-Saving: It does not restore stamina but then again it reduces one’s own Stamina Cost. It can be learned at level 65 and with an upgrade, the Stamina Cost for the user is reduced by 65 percent for the next 15 seconds.
  • Drain: This rune has the ability to steal enemies’ stamina while attacking and unlocks at level 93. After leveling up, it can steal 400 Stamina from opponents upon hitting them and can only be triggered once per second.

Remember, the Players can unlock abilities after they reach level 20 in Noah’s Heart. The game has to offer seven different abilities and each of them comes with 4 different variations of runes which get unlocked as the player’s level increases even further in the game.
