Pokémon Go Dialga (Origin Forme) Raid: Best Moveset, Counters, and Tips

Guide for the best counters against Dialga (Origin Forme) during Battle Raids!

Dialga (Origin Forme) is a special form of the legendary Pokémon Dialga in Pokémon Go. This Pokémon is going to make its debut in the game during the Sinnoh Tour which is a part of Raid Battles schedule for February. The origin form of Dialga is the true appearance of the Pokémon which can control time. It is an extremely tough Pokémon to fight against so you’ll need your very best counters against it. In this Pokémon Go guide, we are going to talk about the best ways and counters using which you’ll have the best chances of winning against the Origin Forme of Dialga.

Dialga (Origin Forme) in Pokémon Go

Dialga (Origin Forme) is a dual-type Steel and Dragon Pokémon with CP ranging between 2246 to 2337 at level 20 with no weather boosts. It is vulnerable to only Fighting and Ground-type attacks. As it is a special form of a legendary Pokémon, you will have a lot of difficulty while fighting against it.

Even if you are a high-level player with the absolute best counters, I will recommend you to not go into battle with no less than six trainers in your team. If you don’t have optimal counters, you should either choose to sit this one out or go into the battle with no less than ten trainers in your team.

The best moves that I’ve discovered from the moveset of Dialga (Origin Forme) are Metal Claw and Roar of Time. They deal a combined damage of 20.27 DPS and 742.9 TDO. This is also the best combination of moves that can be used in both Pokémon Gyms and PvP battles. You can also use Draco Meteor in place of Roar of Time to get more or less the same results. Other attacks that I’ve found are great too from its movepool are Dragon Breath, Iron Head, and Thunder.
