Field Research Tasks are developed in such a way that players can get rewarded by just simply engaging with the game mechanics and mostly so that the interest of the audience remains in the game because of the unique rewards they can get each month.
A player just needs to walk up to a Poke Stop and give it a spin to get a random list of Research Tasks that they need to complete in order to get rewards.
