SSSnaker is a shooter, attacker, and single-player game developed by HABBY PTE LTD. In this game, the player plays the game through the perspective of our main protagonist snake of the game. The player has to attack monsters and maintain a winning streak to determine their level-up outcome and gaming. The game consists of attack, defense, upgrades, streak, and equipment. As soon as the player enters the game, they are directed to the main battlefield where they are shown a brief tutorial about how to navigate the snake, how to attack, what diminishes its health, and what kills it. Gameplay Overview
As soon as the player enters the game, they are directly taken into the gameplay part. They are shown the field in which they can see a snake at the center bottom of the screen where it is ready to enter the battle. Right below the main character’s snake, the player is shown how to navigate the snake through the battlefield using the joystick.
There are a few main rules and guidelines to the game. The main motto of the game is that the snake should attack monsters without being killed. The major task is to know how different kinds of monsters have different kinds of attacks, adapt effective defenses concerning each monster’s attack and counterattack the monsters. The player can make different kinds of attacks by a pattern of the snake’s movement, equipment, and strategies.
After the player goes through the basic gameplay they are allowed to maintain a streak of victories. After their first loss or first quitting of the match, they can enter the homepage.
Introducing the Basics of SSSnaker
The main gameplay includes attack, defense, maintaining a streak, and learning tricks of different types of monsters. The player does not have to initiate an attack, the snake’s weapons automatically shoot as soon as monsters enter the field.
The snake’s physical size increases as the game moves forward. While attacking monsters many popups fall onto the battlefield which can be collected by the player by moving over them. One of the pop-ups is to add more layers to the length of the snake in the form of a shooter. Other pop-ups include health revival, new weapons, rewards, etc. The navigation of the snake can be done by using the joystick-shaped icon on the central bottom of the screen.
The main element of the game is that the snake is not supposed to hit the monsters directly with its head. Direct contact with the monsters will reduce their health and sometimes lead to death. The snake can hit its own body and move over it too. This does not have any diminishing effect on its health.
Each monster has a unique ability and each type of monster has to be handled differently. Every time a new type of monster is introduced into the battlefield, the player has described their abilities. Along with the basic shooters and abilities of the snake, the player can equip various other kinds of special shooters and abilities which are gained through pop-ups in the game or through rewards on the homepage.
Map
On the top center of the screen, the players can see scroll through a menu of maps. It shows the players the maps in which they are currently playing and the maps available or yet to be unlocked. New maps can be unlocked by finishing older chapters.
Profile
On the top left of the screen, the players can see the profile of the player. Upon clicking on it the players can see the avatars of the snake, the progress of the level, and name changing option. The players can see their player id too.
Abilities
On the bottom right corner of the screen, the players can see the abilities icon. Upon clicking on this the players are led into the section of the game where they can upgrade various types of abilities like attack, hp, and recovery of the snake. The abilities upgrades are categorized on a level-wise basis.
Equip
Right next to the shop, the players can see the equip icon. Upon clicking on it the players are led to the setting where they can add equipment gained or bought to the snake. Upon doing this, the snake can use this equipment in the game and attack enemies better.
Shop
On the bottom left of the screen, the player can see the shop icon. Upon clicking on it, the players are led to the shop of the game. Here the players can purchase various kinds of equipment, upgrades, and game-related items using both in-game and real-time money.
