Stella Sora Team Composition Guide and Tips

Fight with only the best teams!

Stella Sora is a tactical RPG that rewards clever composition just as much as it rewards strong units. And no matter how powerful your favorite characters are, without balance and synergy, your team will struggle to keep up in tougher content. That’s why this Stella Sora Team Composition Guide is here.

Our Stella Sora Team Composition guide will help you understand how to build effective teams that can handle any challenge, whether you’re clearing story stages, farming events, or battling through high-level PvE and PvP encounters. How team roles work in Stella Sora

Stella Sora simplifies party management to three-slot squads: one Main Trekker, which is the one you control in combat, and two Support Trekkers, which are off-field allies whose Skills and Ultimates you can trigger. Understanding what goes where is the single biggest step toward building a team that performs.

Main Trekker

The Main Trekker is the heart of every Stella Sora team, the unit you directly control in combat and the one responsible for executing most of your damage, dodges, and skill combos. Everything you see happening in real-time, from basic attacks to skill chains and flashy ultimates, comes from your Main Trekker’s kit.

Because of this, choosing who fills that position should never be random. Your Main should be the character whose playstyle feels most natural to you, since you’ll be relying on them for precision timing, damage rotations, and survival. Your Main Trekker is often the primary DPS and the focal point of your build.

Support Trekker

The Support Trekkers in Stella Sora play a very different but equally vital role. Unlike your Main, they remain off-field for most of the fight, but their influence is felt in every key moment. Instead of actively attacking or dodging, Support Trekkers operate through triggered abilities called Support Skills and Support Ultimates, which you activate strategically during combat.

These abilities can heal, buff, debuff, summon, or even deliver powerful bursts of off-field damage depending on the character. The idea isn’t to mirror what your Main is doing, but to enhance and expand on it. A well-chosen Support can make an average Main feel unstoppable.

For instance, a Support with healing or shielding abilities can keep an aggressive Main alive during high-risk bursts, while one with elemental synergy or crit-rate buffs can push your overall DPS through the roof.

Examples of Team Composition in Stella Sora

1. Aqua Team Comp

Chitose (Main) / Freesia (Support) / Teresa (Support)

This team composition is perfect if you’re looking for a reliable setup that combines crowd control, sustain, and high elemental synergy. It thrives in general progression, farming, and early-to-mid-game content where you need consistent performance rather than raw burst.

Chitose leads as the Main Trekker, dealing powerful melee damage while applying Chill effects to enemies, which helps control groups and reduce incoming damage. Freesia and Teresa perfectly complement her strengths by amplifying Aqua-based attacks and enhancing the freeze effects, while Teresa provides healing, shields, and collection synergy to keep your team durable throughout extended fights.

2. Ignis Team Comp

Amber (Main) / Chixia (Support) / Flora (Support)

If you’re after raw damage, flashy combos, and fast clears, the Ignis composition is for you. It’s a team built around explosive offense, perfect for boss fights, timed challenges, or events where every second counts. Amber, the Main Trekker, excels at mobility and burst potential, and her rapid strikes and skill chains make her one of the best units for players who prefer an aggressive, high-skill playstyle.

She pairs seamlessly with Chixia, whose Support Skill dishes out massive spike damage, and Flora, whose off-field utility adds both sustained Ignis damage and valuable debuffs that soften up enemies. This setup thrives in situations where you want to hit hard and fast.

3. Terra Team Comp

Gerie (Main) / Ridge (Support) / Nazuna (Support)

The Terra composition embodies stability, sustain, and overwhelming late-game power. It’s made for players tackling challenging boss encounters, long survival missions, or Monolith floors where staying alive and dealing steady damage matter more than speed. Gerie leads the team as the Main Trekker, wielding her Vanguard skills and the devastating Iron Cage and Lethal statuses to crush enemies over time.

Her kit rewards patience, and the longer the fight, the stronger she becomes. Supporting her are Ridge and Nazuna, two of the best companions for maximizing Terra’s natural durability and sustained DPS. Ridge reinforces defense and boosts Terra-based attacks, while Nazuna adds healing and defensive buffs that make the team nearly unbreakable.

Final Thoughts

Team composition in Stella Sora isn’t about throwing your strongest units together; it’s about finding the right balance of roles, elements, and synergies. So experiment with different setups, learn how characters interact, and refine your formation to fit the challenge.
