The Division Resurgence Dark Zone: Overview

So, the Dark Zone is back with its signature PvPvE extraction mode, letting you enter alone or with a team to loot and extract high-end gear, all while taking on NPC factions and other players.

But here’s what you need to know:

  • Loot is stored in a separate Inventory bag with a limit of 9 items.
  • You must extract the contaminated items before they become usable.
  • The area is time-limited for up to 20 minutes due to contamination.

The Division Resurgence Extraction procedure and risks

So, your main objective is to extract the loot you collect. For that, you need to head to an Extraction Zone, call in a helicopter, and secure your items. Once the helicopter arrives, you can attach the loot to the rope, climb up, and leave once the extraction is complete.

But it is not that simple and easy as:

  • If you’re eliminated, some of your loot will be dropped on the ground.
  • Other players can steal your dropped items.
  • They can also cut the extraction rope and take your loot.

If you want a safer option, there is also an alternative way to collect your loot. For that, you have to

  • Find a Smuggling Ring Operative.
  • They’re located at Dark Zone Safe Rooms.
  • This works best if you want to avoid the crowded Extraction Zone and the risk of your loot being stolen.

Rogue system and PvP chaos

Now, in the Dark Zone, players can also turn into Rogue Agents, and that’s where things get unpredictable. You can turn Rogur and attack others to steal their loot. And here’s how it works:

  • You can manually turn Rogue by tapping on the button at the top of your screen.
  • Cutting the extraction rope automatically turns you, Rogue.
  • However, Rogue players are visible to others, and they can hunt you without going Rogue themselves.

The Division Resurgence rewards and progression

After each run, you earn special resources that help you progress further.

  • Dark Zone Intel that you can exchange in the game mode for various benefits.
  • Dark Zone Credits that you can use at the Dark Zone Vendor for exclusive rewards.
  • You’ll also earn rewards like Skill Mods, Weapon or Gear, Character XP, Specialization XP, Currencies, Materials, and more.

And once you’ve successfully extracted the contaminated loot, they get decontaminated and sent to your in-game Stash. After that, you can collect them from your Base of Operations or Safe House and use them normally. You can track your Stash via the World map for better navigation.
