Top Eleven Special Ability: Importance of special abilities during the match

Inside information on the players' special abilities

Special ability is one of the very important things that a player can have in Top Eleven Be a Football Manager. We can see different kinds of special abilities in Top Eleven. In this article, we will discuss their importance and how this affects the gameplay during the match.

Special Ability of each position in Top Eleven

Goal Keeper (GK)

Abilities a manager can use for a GK are mainly two, One-on-one stopper or Penalty kick Stopper. From these two abilities, if a manager wants to choose one then it has to be a One-on-One stopper. The GK should have good anticipation as well as rushing out to stop a prolific striker. A penalty kick is very rare in the game so it is better to go for one on one stopper.

Center Backs (DC)

The most useful ability for a center-back or DC is having to be the Defensive Wall in Top Eleven. A player with good height, as well as strength, is good for a center-back position. A DC with Defensive Wall can save you from conceding goals from a free kick. The managers can also assign Aerial Defender to DCs

Fullbacks (DL/DR)

A fullback with the Aerial Defender as a special ability can save you from the crosses into your box by the opposition in Top Eleven. Aerial defending will also minimize the threat of conceding goals from a corner. Defensive wall ability can also be assigned if the full-back has good height.

Defensive Midfielder (DMC)

A holding midfielder with a Playmaker special ability is the most preferable combination. He will hold the play and at the same time may give a perfect pass to develop a counter-attack. Managers can also assign any other ability such as Free-kick specialist, Defensive Wall, or Aerial Defender as per his/her choice.

Central Midfielders ( ML/MC/MR)

A midfielder with the Playmaker or Dribbler as a special ability is always a threat. He can dribble past two-three players and can give key passes to your strikers. A playmaker (MC) is very important in the build of the play. An ML/MR with Corner Kick Special ability can be useful in the game. If a player with multiple positions such as MR/AMR or ML/AML, the manager can assign shadow striker ability to him.

Attacking Midfielders (AML/AMC/AMR)

As most of the goals in this game come from these three players. They are the main asset of the team, a manager may have a very good defense but if his team doesn’t score then he is never going to win the match. Therefore, a shadow striker is one of the most important top eleven special abilities a manager can assign to an attacking mid, who plays as a secondary striker.

Apart from that if the player has good shooting ability then free-kick specialist ability can be assigned or corner-kick ability can be given to AML/AMR.

Striker (ST)

A striker or ST with a free-kick specialist is always a jewel to have in your team. He can change the results of the matches with those precise set-pieces. The ST should have good shooting and finishing skills. Also, a one-on-one scorer is also available but in most cases, it can be seen that he is not that useful as a free-kick specialist.
