Physical weapons accrue 1 point with each hit, and non-physical weapons accrue 0.5 points with each hit. The number of warmup points you have is displayed in the Magic Gauge, up to 100 points. When entering battle, immediately gain 100 warmup points. Skills can be cast once there are 100 warmup points in the Magic Gauge. Pull together enemies in a certain area and deal damage equal to 950% of ATK + 50 to the target. It becomes temporarily invincible (unavailable in Apex League and The Critical Abyss) and reduces the speed of targets within the hit area (unavailable in Apex League and The Critical Abyss). At the same time, activate Magic Trick to continuously consume warmup points for 18 seconds.

Cooldown: 30 seconds.

This cooldown is not affected by effects (including the clearance, reset, or change of the cooldown time) that are not from Mobius for 18 seconds. During this time, the skill button is replaced with a Cut Card button. During Magic Trick, automatically get either a Spade or Heart Poker Card every 2 seconds. The type of Poker Cards that will soon be obtained can be switched in advance with the Cut Card button. When there are 2 Poker Cards, the corresponding Card Magic will be automatically used. Cooldown: 3.8 seconds. During Magic Trick you gain hyperbody and are considered as having a shield. The Magic Gauge will also no longer be automatically replenished. Increase the physical damage of Mobius’s attacks (normal attack and dodge attack) by 10% and shatter by 20%.

Different Poker Card combinations will activate different Card Magic effects.

Heart + Spade → Psychic Puppet Heart + Heart → Contradiction Corrosion Spade + Spade → Card Sweep

Magic Trick ends when switching to another weapon in any way or upon death. Gain hyperbody for 20 seconds when Magic Trick ends. If it ends naturally, deals additional damage equal to 1,000% of ATK to nearby targets.
Psychic Puppet (Skill)Pull out a colony of bats from your hat and enhance yourself. During Magic Trick, physical damage dealt by Mobius is increased by 7.5%, and only 60% of the damage taken will be tallied. The remaining 40% will slowly be deducted from your HP 10 seconds after Magic Trick ends. The delayed tally effect only applies when Fortitude Resonance is not active.

Card Sweep (Skill)Summon a large number of flying cards, forming a hurricane that swarms to the target location, attacking the target up to 12 times and dealing total damage equal to 850% of ATK.
Sleight of Hand (Discharge)When the weapon charge is full or Phantasia is triggered, remove all debuffs from the wielder upon switching to this weapon, cast Sleight of Hand and gain temporary invincibility (unavailable in Apex League and The Critical Abyss). Upon landing, deal damage equal to 316.2% of ATK + 17 to the target. After swinging the whip, deal damage equal to 737.8% of ATK + 39 to the target and strongly launch the target.

Best Matrices Build for Umi in Tower of Fantasy

Umi is a Physical DPS and hence she would need matrices that boost her own personal damage. The best-in-slot matrix is unsurprisingly her own Matrix which boosts physical damage and final damage by a certain percentage. In this section of the guide, we will discuss the different matrices build for Umi in Tower of Fantasy.

These matrices work best in a physical team comp where there are 2 or more physical weapons. With saying that, it is good to note that Lin’s matrices, particularly equipping the 4-piece set will give almost the equal amount of strength as the Umi matrices.

Other matrices on the list of builds, if they don’t have Umi’s matrix are Shiro, Claudia and Crow. They are overall universal type matrices where the 2-piece and 4-piece bonus sets, which can be applied to any sort of DPS simulacrums.

Umi Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece set: When dealing physical damage, increase final damage by 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% and physical damage by 2% / 2.5% / 3% / 3.5% for 3 seconds. This Matrix’s effect is also active in the off-hand slot, but only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.
  • 4-piece set: When equipping 2 or more physical weapons, increase final damage by 15% / 17% / 19% / 21%. This Matrix’s effect is also active in the off-hand slot, but only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.

Lin Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece set: Increase ATK by 2.1%/2.6%/3.1%/3.6% on hit for 18 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Only the effect of the highest level is applied when obtained repeatedly.
  • 4-piece set: Every 5m travelled within Moonlight Realm grants 1 stack of Moonlight, increasing final damage by 4%/4.9%/5.8%/6.7% for 15 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. This Matrix’s effect is also active in the off-hand slot, but only the set with the highest star rating will take effect.

Claudia Matrix (SSR)

  • 2-piece set: Increase damage by 13%/17%/20%/23% when hitting a target in mid-air or initiating an aerial attack. Reset double-jump upon hitting the target in mid-air.
  • 4-piece set: Hitting an enemy with a skill reduces the cooldowns of all weapon skills by 1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds and increases the damage of discharge skills by 58%/80%/103%/126% for 15 seconds.

Crow Matrix (SSR)

2-piece set: Increase crit damage to targets with less than 60% HP by 24%/30%/36%/42%.

Shiro Matrix (SSR)

2-piece set: Increase both damage and shatter to targets with more than 50% HP by 15%/19%/22.5%/26%.

Best Team Comps for Umi in Tower of Fantasy

Umi is undeniably a pure Physical DPS where her kit relies on boosting other Physical weapons and her own personal damage. It is advisable to pair her weapon up with another Physical DPS or Support weapon to take advantage of the Physical Resonance. In this section of the guide, we will discuss the different team comps for Umi in Tower of Fantasy.

Triple Physical Team: Umi + Lyra + Claudia

In this team, it is ideal to use Lyra as the main DPS with Umi as support. The rotation will start off with Claudia’s skill to deal Physical AoE damage. Afterwards, players must swap to Umi and her Magic Show skill and use her basic attacks until the first pair of cards goes out. Lastly swap to Lyra and use her skill, following a dodge into an Attack hold. Keep an eye on Claudia’s matrix buff and release the hold Attack to become airborne, right before it wears out. This will take advantage of Claudia’s 2-piece effect which will be followed up with skill.

Double-Physical Team: Umi + Lin + Lyra

In this team, Umi acts more of a Main DPS with Lin and Lyra acting as Supports. First off, the rotation starts with Lin and her Moonlight Realm to quickly stack up her 2-piece matrix. One must then switch to Umi and use her basic attacks or dodge attacks to deal damage onto enemies. When Umi’s Magic Show is over, switch to Lin and cancel the discharge immediately with a jump attack. Put down a new field and switch to Lyra before reaching full charge.
