- Aniimo is a creature-catching action RPG featuring a unique Twining mechanic.
- This isn’t the second beta, as it features the same content as the first CBT, and the next beta will be announced later.
- The current version is for technical testing only and doesn’t represent the final quality of the game.
Kingsglory, a subsidiary of FunPlus, has announced a technical test for their next-gen creature-catching ARPG, Aniimo, scheduled from November 6 to 9 for iOS in the US. Developed by Pawprint Studio, the game was first revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in June and is set to launch in 2026 on multiple platforms.
Explore the vibrant world of Idyll and meet adorable Aniimos
You must’ve probably heard of Aniimo by now, especially since its sudden popularity explosion, generating millions of views across social media. If not, it’s a Pokémon-like creature-catching action RPG set in the vibrant world of Idyll, teeming with adorable creatures called Aniimo.
In this world of ancient ruins and evolving environments, you can collect these creatures, help them grow, evolve, and even research them to unlock their full potential. Now, I’m really impressed by how cute and unique each Aniimo looks, with ones like Emberpup, Otti, and Nimbi standing out the most to me.
But what really sold me, though, is the Twining mechanic, which is a clever twist that lets you actually merge with your Aniimo instead of just battling beside them. Like the idea of gaining new abilities and seeing the world through their perspective sounds very fun to me, and I can’t wait to try it out myself.
How to sign up for the Aniimo iOS technical test
The good news is that Aniimo is now gearing up for its technical test, scheduled for iOS, which will run from November 6 to 9 in the US. This limited test aims to gather feedback for the upcoming big beta. Just to clarify, this isn’t a second beta test, as the content will remain the same as the first one.
Here’s how you can apply for the Aniimo technical test:
- First, visit the official X (formerly known as Twitter) account.
- There, tap on the Technical Test announcement post.
- Now, tap on the given link to apply for the test.
- Here, give your consent and agree to the Confidentiality Clause.
- After that, provide proper details, like your iPhone model, region, and more.
- You can also add your Discord ID to join the private tester server.
- Press Submit!
If you’re selected, you’ll most likely be notified via the email address you gave. Since this version is only meant for technical testing, don’t expect it to reflect the game’s final quality just yet. It’s a bit of a letdown that it is limited to the US, but the devs have promised that the second beta test is also coming.
