Apple Arcade has announced the upcoming launch of casual sim, MySims, and adventure sim, MySims Kingdom, both set to launch on November 6. These two fan-favorites from Electronic Arts are retro re-releases, coming with updated graphics.
Help Mayor Rosalyn build a charming town teeming with happy residents
So, MySims is now going arcade, offering an exciting adventure where Mayor Rosalyn needs your help to build a charming town for its residents. I feel this title hardly needs an introduction, as it’s a beloved spin-off of Maxis’ popular The Sims franchise.

Here, you can build and customize your town, from creating furniture in the Workshop to tracking down Blueprints for new buildings and your own home. I believe naming and developing the town adds a personal touch, and you’ll encounter new residents to interact with, including fan-favorites like Italian Chef Gino and DJ Candy.
As you explore the growing town, you’ll find special decorations, patterns, and hidden treasures while socializing with the locals. Overall, this re-release looks promising, with intuitive touch control, updated visuals, customization, characters, and more.
Help King Roland to revive the Kingdom, meet new friends, and hear local stories
MySims Kingdom is also arriving on Apple Arcade, offering a casual adventure sim that continues the MySims adventures. Here, you help King Roland and his subjects revitalize the Kingdom while teaming up with friends, exploring magical lands, and taking on fun challenges.

The journey begins by collecting Mana, a magical essence used to craft items, furniture, and house parts for different locations on the island. As you progress, you can unlock new building options, colors, and recipes that give you special powers. I also like the fact that we can hear stories from the locals.
Now, the reason I’m excited because, even though I’ve played MySims before, I haven’t tried this one yet, which makes it feel fresh, and as an animal lover, I’m happy to see the variety of animals, including Bobaboo, the triceratops, which provides a fun way to interact with the variety of themed islands.
MySims and MySims Kingdom are set to launch on the Apple Arcade on November 6, and are also available as a bundle on PC. If you don’t have Apple Arcade, you can get it for $6.99 per month, or try the free one-month trial.
