In collaboration with Paramount Consumer Products and developer Navigator Games, CDE Entertainment has launched a fresh expansion for their mobile game, Avatar Generations. Known as the Hegemon’s Folly update, it offers players an entirely new adventure for the Gaang, complete with an original storyline and antagonists. Additionally, the Broken Bonds Event Banner enables players to gather Kyoshi’s mentors, Kelsang and Jianzhu. Interested individuals can now access the May 2023 update for free on the App Store for iPhone/iPad users and the Google Play Store for Android device users.
The Rise of Kyoshi takes center stage in Avatar Generations May 2023 update
Last month, Avatar Generations caused a stir by unveiling a significant update inspired by The Rise of Kyoshi, the initial installment in the renowned Chronicles of the Avatar series, which has earned a place on the New York Times best-seller list.
Following closely behind the introduction of the Avatar Timelines feature, which was introduced last month, the game now presents a visual and auditory depiction of characters from the novel, including Kelsang and Jianzhu, marking their first-ever appearance in the franchise.
In the current Broken Bonds Event Banner, players have the opportunity to obtain these legendary characters for a limited duration, namely Kelsang, Avatar Kyoshi’s mentor known as the Living Typhoon, and Jianzhu also referred to as the Gravedigger of Zhulu Pass.
Avatar Generations May 2023 update brings a canonical campaign expansion to Avatar Aang’s timeline
The Hegemon’s Folly update in Avatar Aang’s timeline introduces a new official campaign to the Avatar franchise. It showcases Pirate Captain Jiang, who originally appeared in the graphic novel “Katara and the Pirate’s Silver,” as well as a fresh antagonist named Commander Mamushi from the Fire Nation. In this update, players will accompany Captain Jiang in a race against time to solve an ancient puzzle before the Fire Nation becomes aware of her plan.
Furthermore, the update fulfills the anticipation of players by including Captain Masaru as a playable character, who was previously encountered as a formidable adversary in the Avatar Generations campaign.
Motivated by a desperate desire to steal the secrets of the Earth Kingdom, Captain Masaru sets in motion the events of the Hegemon’s Folly campaign, granting players the opportunity to add a formidable new Firebender to their team.
