Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is now celebrating Dussehra in its latest event in the game. In this event, they are giving away a permanent UMP-45 skin and a special frame to celebrate Dussehra with the players across the country. Previously, BGMI celebrated Independence Day and Ganesh Chaturthi as well with free skins. Players need to complete certain challenges in order to earn a special token called a leaf. These leaves can be used in the Leaf Exchange center for the UMP-45 gun skin, a frame, some coupons, and in-game currency.
BGMI Dussehra event: Steps to get a permanent UMP-45 skin
There are two missions consisting of tasks that the players need to earn the required 500 leaves in order to get the rewards. Players need to finish all of them to get the permanent skin and a frame for free.
1. Leaf Stunning Light
In Leaf stunning light players can earn up to 450 leaves by completing three main tasks.
- Use Stun Grenade in classic mode for 5 times – 100 leaves
- Use Stun Grenade in classic mode for 10 times – 150 leaves
- Use Stun Grenade in classic mode for 20 times – 200 leaves
Upon completing this players will receive 450 leaves. They now only need 50 more leaves to unlock the UMP-45 skin which can be earned through the next mission Leaf Defeat The Evil. Players also should note that Leaf stunning light tasks can be completed only once. The missions are available from September 28th till October 18th, 2021.
2. Leaf Defeat The Evil
Leaf Defeat the evil tasks can be done daily unlike the Leaf stunning light. Players can earn up to 40 leaves per day by completing certain tasks.
- Finish 3 enemies everyday – 10 leaves
- Finish 5 enemies everyday – 30 leaves
Upon completing this players will receive 40 leaves. Players can earn 40 leaves daily from September 28th to October 18th, 2021.
Exchange the Leaves to unlock the rewards
After earning the required amount of leaves, players can exchange them for rewards in the leaf exchange center. Players can choose from six rewards to claim in the game.
- Large Leaf Avatar Frame (1 redemption ) for 500 leaves
- The Skulls UMP-45 (1 redemption) for 500 leaves
- Supply Crate Coupon Scrap x1 (10 redemptions) for 10 leaves
- Classic Crate Coupon Scrap x1 (10 redemptions) for 10 leaves
- 100 AG (10 redemptions) for 10 leaves
- BP crate (99 redemptions) for 5 leaves
With the release of the Dussehra event, Krafton has kept their promise that they will release special events that cater to the varied Indian audience which they said during the BGMI release back in July. After the conclusion of this event, we can expect more special events from Krafton for BGMI.
