Glohow Holdings Pte. Ltd. has announced that their sci-fi action RPG, Black Beacon, has officially ceased updates on mobile in China. First launched in open beta in April 2025, the game also shutdown it’s global services prematurely due to operational difficulties.
A farewell to new updates in CN server following the global shutdown
For those unaware, Black Beacon mythology sci-fi ARPG with a solid storyline with immersive world-building. Here, you step in as an Outlander, going on an adventure with cute characters and engaging in cool battles. While the game had potential, it did face global backlash and soon ended services.
Now, the official Black Beacon Project team has announced via the official site about stoping future updates for the game in China, stating this came after “careful consideration by the project team.” So, the gacha update yesterday was the last one you’ll every get.
Servers will remain active with rerun events and gratitude rewards
The good news though is while content updates will stop, the servers will remain open, letting you continue exploring everything the title currently offers. And the team promises to continue the Rerun Search event, with each cycle lasting 30 days.
Plus, you’ll also get gratitude gift of 10 Time Seeking Keys and 10 Large Celestial Fruits after each reruns. In a way, it’s better than a total shutdown which we global players had to face. Moreover, you can also collect 70 Time-Seeking Keys, 50 Time-Lost Keys, and 1 Initial 5-Star Character Selection Pack as a thank you gift from the devs.
