gumi Inc. has announced that its latest digital card game, Brave Frontier Versus, is now open for global pre-registration on both Android and iOS. As the latest installment in the popular mobile JRPG series, Brave Frontier, the game is set to launch on October 22.
Get ready for pocket-sized strategic battles using heroes from across the entire series
Brave Frontier Versus is a Japanese card title that brings a fresh system to digital trading card games, along with short five-turn battles. Here, you can build your own party, place up to six units on the field, and create unique synergies in pocket-sized, strategic matches.
Here, you don’t have to wait for your opponents, thanks to the new battle system, which keeps matches lively and fast. You can even deploy multiple units right from the very first turn. And since decks can have only character cards, it stays simple enough for everyone to enjoy, even if you’re a beginner.
Players can unleash Manifestation cards and use Brave Bursts
I’m especially excited to try Manifestation, a unique battle system that sets this game apart. So, you can draw Manifestation Cards on the 3rd and 5th turns, which come with better stats and powerful skills. Plus, the iconic Brave Bursts also return, bringing back stunning effects and devastating attacks.
Overall, the game feels very promising with its anime-style visuals, wide range of cards, in-game chat, global PvP, fast-paced five-turn battles, beginner-friendly gameplay, and more. Now that the series has taken a card game format, I’m curious to see if it truly delivers on its legacy.
