Brown Dust 2 releases new developer diary video revealing big changes coming to the game

Take a deep dive into the upcoming update!

NEOWIZ, a prominent developer and publisher of highly regarded video games, has officially announced the launch of a fresh video developer diary for Brown Dust 2. In this diary, Kyung-Wook Son from GAMFSN and Jong-ho Kim from NEOWIZ share insights on significant updates and unveil new systems and features that players can expect upon the game’s release. Of particular interest, the video provides in-depth information on a new control system and offers an exclusive preview of additional illustrations and artwork that will elevate the overall player experience.

New mid-battle character skill cutscenes and a “View Once Per Day” option will be coming to Brown Dust 2

Players of Brown Dust 2 will be pleased to know that the game’s developers, Kyung-wook Son and Jong-ho Kim, have shared early sketches of new and improved mid-battle character skill cutscenes, which will enhance the overall art quality of the game. These concept art pieces highlight the distinctive traits of each character. To make it more convenient for players, the developers are also adding an option to view these epic cutscenes once per day or as frequently as desired.

Brown Dust 2 developer diary reveals an improved control system based on feedback

The video delves into the significance of player feedback in shaping the latest update, particularly in relation to the control system. The update addresses concerns about horizontal screens and enables players to move characters by directly touching the desired location.

Additionally, basic movement speeds have been enhanced to minimize the need for the dash button. These changes are being implemented based on player feedback to enhance convenience and gameplay experience. Other improvements include:

  • New artwork is being added to the existing 2D animation that will go a long way to improving the “liveliness” of each animation.
  • Downloadable design kits include character icons that can be used as profile images on social media.
  • New music tracks.

There is more news planned to be revealed in April, and the development team can’t wait to hear what players think. Fans can visit the BrownDust2 official website to learn more about the game.
