ChillyRoom has announced that their latest 2D action roguelike platformer RPG, PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer, is set to launch on both Android and iOS on November 26. The title previously soft-launched in the Philippines and Malaysia, with global pre-registration now live.

So, ChillyRoom is back with a fresh adventure, and this time, it is PlatyGuard: Swarm Slayer, a 2D action roguelike platformer RPG set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with a dark biopunk vibe. So, you can pick from a wide roster of unique Platyguards and hack and slash your way through relentless enemy waves.
Your goal here is to uncover the truth behind the Hive Scourge and endure the apocalypse as mutants try to eliminate you. However, the fun comes from landing brutal combos, timing your parries, dodging, and spamming charged attacks, while also taking advantage of hundreds of skills and items. I like this sort of game.
Players can try diverse playstyles and unleash powerful skills
Coming back to the Platyguards, each comes with unique mechanics, and the variety to choose from, samurai, ninja, and more, really caught my attention. Moreover, the ability to summon armies, cast powerful magic, or call down lightning storms while battling across 6 stages makes me more intrigued.
Overall, the game feels like a fun and promising addition from ChillyRoom, especially with its ever-changing battles, dynamic battlefields, endless builds, various characters and playstyles, 50 monster types, Bosses, and more. I hope the game delivers as it promises.
