Clash Royale Merge Tactics is going to get Seasonal Reset alongside new Rulers

New additions coming soon!

Story Highlights
  • Clash Royale is bringing its first Seasonal Reset to Merge Tactics soon.
  • Royale King continues, while Spirit Empress steps aside with two new Rulers arriving.
  • Future updates will bring cards, traits, modifiers, and skins for even more ways to play.

The Merge Tactics mode in Clash Royale is about to enter an exciting new phase as the game prepares for its very first Seasonal Starsteel reset. This marks the end of the current season and opens the door to a fresh cycle filled with new rewards, strategies, and updates.

Clash Royale Merge Tactics Seasonal Reset: All details explained

The reset is designed to keep the game balanced and engaging while giving players a reason to climb the ladder again. You still have some time to push for those last wins before the reset takes effect.

New Merge Tactics Season will begin alongside the regular Clash Royale seasons

After this, each season will last for about a month and is expected to start around the same week that Clash Royale seasons begin. This regular schedule should make it easier to plan your progress and aim for rewards without the wait dragging on too long.

Update to Rulers: Two new arrivals with Spirit Empress’ exit

One of the most notable changes is the update to Rulers. Royale King is sticking around and will continue to rule the board, but Spirit Empress will be stepping aside when the new season begins. If you’ve already unlocked her, you’ll still be able to use her, but her cards will no longer appear as rewards.

For those who haven’t unlocked her yet, this is the last chance to get her before the season ends. The good news is that Spirit Empress might return in the future, either through rewards or special offers in the shop.

On top of this, two new Rulers will be making their debut in the upcoming seasons. The makers have confirmed that one of them will be a completely new face, while the other is a familiar character returning in a bold new form.

Their abilities remain under wraps for now, but the tease is enough to build excitement. Having new Rulers regularly introduced should keep strategies fresh and encourage players to test different playstyles.

New cards, modifiers, and skins coming soon

The developers also confirmed that more content is on the way, including new cards, modifiers, traits, and skins. These additions will allow players to experiment with new strategies while keeping the Arena visually exciting. Can see some pay-to-play elements, no complaints about getting some nice visuals.
