- Elite Wild Cards are being removed and converted into Gems.

- Progression made simple with Books, Magic Coins, and Books of Books now not existing.
The next big Clash Royale update, arriving on November 24, 2025, is going to be one of the most significant overhauls. Supercell is gearing up to simplify the game’s progression, remove some confusing systems, and make upgrades feel smoother for everyone.
Alongside that, we’ll be getting a new Trophy Road extension, a reworked economy, and even the arrival of Level 16 cards. Let’s break down what’s coming.
Clash Royale November 2025 Update: All details explained
2v2 League, Holiday Events, and a “Heroic” Surprise
Before diving into progression, it’s worth mentioning what’s on the horizon. A new 2v2 League is in development, giving duos a proper competitive structure. The Evolution Box is also being expanded to make earning Evolutions easier.

Seasonal content is getting festive with a new Clashmas event and themed Seasonal Lucky Chests. Trophy Road will soon be reworked as well. And while details remain under wraps, Supercell teased something “heroic” that could take gameplay to an entirely new level.
Progression gets an Overhaul
Progression has grown increasingly complex over the years, with Books, Magic Coins, and Elite Wild Cards all serving similar purposes in different ways. This update aims to clean things up. The team wants upgrading cards to be more straightforward and rewarding, eliminating the confusion around when and how to use certain resources.
Farewell to Elite Wild Cards
Elite Wild Cards are officially being removed from Clash Royale. These were originally meant to make high-level progression more accessible, but they ended up feeling slow and unimpactful. With the new update, all Elite Wild Cards in your inventory will automatically convert into Gems.

You can then use these Gems to directly purchase the cards you want in the Shop, a far more transparent and flexible system. To avoid confusion, Elite Wild Cards have already been removed from Trophy Road and Ranked rewards ahead of the change.
No more Books and Magic Coins
Supercell is also retiring some other overlapping progression items. All your Books will convert into Wild Cards, Magic Coins into Gold, and the Book of Books into Gems. The conversion rates depend on your King Tower Level and are designed to match the new, reduced card and Gold requirements.
The higher your King Level, the better your conversion will be. This ensures your current progress translates fairly into the new system, so you won’t lose any effort you’ve already put in.
Introducing Level 16
With Elite Levels gone, Clash Royale is introducing a much simpler new milestone: Level 16. This is aimed at you if you’ve already maxed out your deck. The good news is that mid-level card and Gold requirements have been reduced. Reaching Level 16 will feel roughly as natural as reaching Level 14 did before.

If you’re wondering about Ranked play, it will remain capped at Level 15 until May 2026. That gives you time to catch up before higher-level cards enter the competitive scene. Any extra card copies after reaching Level 16 will now turn into Crystals, a new currency used to unlock cosmetics like exclusive emotes.
Trophy Road Expansion and Ranked Adjustments
Trophy Road is getting a major extension, increasing the cap to 12,000 Trophies with four new Arenas added between 10,000 and 12,000. Each new Arena comes with extra milestones and rewards, providing more incentive for you to keep climbing.
Ranked access is also becoming more flexible; you’ll unlock it as soon as you reach the required Trophy milestone for that season, instead of needing to complete all of Trophy Road.
