Season 02 of COD Warzone Mobile is here this January 2025, bringing exciting updates, gameplay improvements, and fresh content for all of us players. Apart from new additions like new Perks, there will be several updates to gameplay with quality of life updates as well coming on January 28th, 2025. So, to give you a complete overview of the same, here’s everything you need to know to gear up for the new season.
COD Warzone Mobile Season 02 January 2025 Overview
Two New Perks are added
Season 02 introduces two new perks to give you more tactical options. The Reactive Armor Perk will be available at the update launch. Taking up Slot 2, this regenerates up to 50% of your armor if you haven’t taken damage in the last five seconds. This perk is perfect for staying in the fight longer.
During the Mid-Season, we will be getting the Low Profile Perk. Available for the Perk Slot 1, this will boost your movement speed while crouched or prone, and even slightly increase your speed when downed.
Gameplay and Quality of Life updates
The developers have prioritized improving the core gameplay experience. Expect enhanced weapon reload and swap speeds, smoother jump mechanics, and better parachute transitions for a more immersive feel. Audio clarity has also been fine-tuned. Additionally, default perks, equipment counts, and body shield behavior have been adjusted for better balance.
You’ll notice new quality-of-life updates, such as the ability to ping buy-back flares and an improved stat tracker font for easier reading. The fixes targeting map visibility, weapon interactions, and perks have also been made. Ranked Play also sees adjustments to SR requirements and deployment fees, making progression fairer and more rewarding.
Other updates include full implementation of the Prestige system and updates to the Battle Pass system for a smoother experience. XP tokens have been re-enabled, allowing you to level up faster, and camo customization and progression are also back.
Ranked Play arrives with more rewards
Battle Royale Ranked Play is back for Season 02, offering intense battles and some healthy rewards as you climb the ranks. You’ll earn new seasonal rewards based on your performance, including weapon camo, blueprints, and unique emblems.

- First Win: Elimination Charm
- 25 Kills: Elimination Sticker
- 100 Kills: Weapon Camo
- 250 Kills: Weapon Blueprint
- Top Ranks (Silver to Top 250): Emblems, calling cards, and special weapon camos for each rank
