Com2uS confirms that a TOUGEN ANKI game is officially in development. Announced at Anime Japan 2025, this RPG is being developed for mobile and PC platforms and is expected to launch in 2025.

Advanced 3D modeling is being used to bring the anime’s art style to life in TOUGEN ANKI

For those who don’t know, TOUGEN ANKI: Legend of the Cursed Blood is a hit manga written by Yura Urushibara, based on the classic Japanese legend Momotaro, running for nearly five years now. The story revolves around the conflict between the descendants of Oni and the Momotaro family.

A short teaser trailer was shown at Anime Japan 2025, giving us a first look at the project. This was more of a cinematic trailer, and it showed what one can expect, with action and a nice showcase of characters.

From the details shared, the developers will aim to stay true to the anime’s dark fantasy world and characters while introducing unique RPG gameplay mechanics. They’re using advanced 3D modeling to bring the anime’s art style to life as noticed in the trailer and ensure a smooth gaming experience.
