Devsisters has announced its new open-world adventure title, CookieRun: New World during DevNow 2026, confirming a 2029 launch on Android, iOS, PC, and consoles. Built using Unreal Engine, this is one of the two projects they previously teased as Project N, along with Project CC.

So, CookieRun: New World happens to be the franchise’s most ambitious title yet, taking you to a full open-world adventure. The story begins after the era of the legendary Five Heroes, sending you on a new journey across the Cookie Continent as a mysterious darkness starts to rise again.
Now, ever since it’s first reveal in February as Project N, I’ve been really interested in this one, and the latest PV made me even more excited. First of all, I’ve a soft spot for cute stuff, and this game really nails it with its Cookie characters, Pokémon-like creatures, vibrant open-world, and everything in between.
That said, more gameplay details will be revealed later, which is actually understandable given the 2029 release window. It is definitely a long wait, but if you’re a fan of the franchise like me, do wait as this one looks very promising. It feels similar to Genshin Impact, but with the super adorable charm of the CR IP. Stay tuned for more updates!
