South Korean game development company, StudioBside is set to release a global version of their game, Counterside. The development team might start with a closed beta test that will begin after some time to get important feedback from users before the global release. Counterside is a 2D-style action RPG game where users make friends.
Gameplay Overview
The game is highly immersive, because of the battles and a huge collection of cute characters. These characters possess supernatural powers because of the “Watch,” a mystery that users must find answers to while battling the dark forces. The characters also have specific roles like Defender, Striker, Ranger, Sniper, Supporter, Tower, and Siege.
Counter: Side was instantly popular because of the compelling story, infused with light humor to make the story more interesting. In the game, players will take up the role of the CEO of the Coffin Company and deploy various squads to fight against monsters and bosses as a result of what looks like an apocalyptic event that has befallen Earth.
The game will conduct a closed beta test before the global release
Since its launch, the game has instantly created a fan base for its beautiful visuals and aesthetic art style in the game. Now that the game is getting ready for a global release, fans can expect it to be played in their language. The development team has announced that a closed beta test for the global version will soon begin on their website.
But the test schedule or any other information regarding the closed beta test is not available as of now. For now, the only language the team has guaranteed is English, and more supporting language information is awaited.
The company has also not given out any information on the existing SEA player‘s access to the global server. There are chances of a merge between servers, but nothing can be said ahead of the official announcement. For now, the game has entered pre-registration on Android and iOS already.
