Butterscotch Shenanigans has announced the launch of their open-world crafting RPG, Crashlands 2, now available on both Android and iOS, priced at $9.99. This sequel was supposed to launch via Netflix Games, but eventually parted ways with them, and pre-registration opened in January 2025.

For those new, Crashlands 2 is a sci-fi open-world action-adventure RPG packed with humor, set in a lively alien open world. You play as Flux Dabes, the intergalactic trucker returning to Woanope for a vacation, until a mysterious blast from the planet’s surface turns your plan upside down.
The studio stayed true to the core gameplay of the original, but they have refined and enhanced nearly every element design. Their goal is to spark nostalgia for old fans while also providing a fresh and exciting experience. This time, the story adds even more emotional depth, while still making it very fun.

As for gameplay, the adventure truly begins after your crash landing due to the blast. From there, you can explore the vibrant world of Woanope, filled with ecological interactions, quirky creatures, and friendly alien societies.
