Cyber Space is a brand new cyberpunk-themed battle royale title which feels a lot like Apex Legends, and it is currently in early access. The game is built in Unreal Engine 4 and features pretty good gameplay and visuals considering it’s still in its early stages.
The game is only available for Android devices at the moment and the servers have opened up recently, so players can test out the game right now through the Google Play Store if they’re residing in the US.
Enjoy fast paced and tactical gunplay of Cyber Space
At present, the game only has one map, and players can only play in a squad although single and duos mode is coming soon. The battle royale map feels quite futuristic and gives the game the cyberpunk look it’s going for. It also resembles Apex Legends to some extent. The basics of the gameplay feel pretty standard like most other battle royale titles.
Players drop into the map and equip guns, armor, and other materials to help them survive. There’s a zone (called the Ring) that closes in and alongside the PvP fights, there’s also PvE action in the form of monsters and other hostiles that roam around on the map. The last team or player standing wins the game. Battles are pretty enjoyable and fast-paced. However, since there are not a lot of players playing right now, matchmaking can take some time. Visually, the game looks pretty good aside from a few glitches here and there.
Now the “futuristic” and “cyberpunk-ish” look are something a lot of games are going for. But with items like prosthetic limbs that enhance the players’ fighting ability along with some other elements, the game has potential to deliver an enjoyable experience. Once again, US residents can simply click here to download and try out the game on their Android devices but players located in other regions can use a VPN to create a new Google account to try out the game too.
