Death Stranding Director’s Cut has now opened the pre-order process on iOS, which the players can do with $19.99. Also, the game is expected to get an official launch on January 31, 2024, for iOS devices and Mac.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut offers a more full-fledged view of the 2019 action hit
First announced in the Apple Event 2023, Death Stranding Director’s Cut was among the games that were told to be coming to iPhone 15 devices offering a console-like experience with other big names including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village on their iPhones. You might be familiar with the Death Stranding franchise, which is a huge hit on the console platform.
Death Stranding was the first in the franchise, developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, which got a 2019 release. The Director’s Cut is a more in-depth version of the game, which was first launched on PlayStation 5 in September 2021, followed by a Windows release in March 2022, and had delayed its iOS launch last year in December. A sequel is currently in the works.
Speaking about the game, it is set in the future where a strange event called Death Stranding has changed everything. It created a connection between the living and the dead, bringing spooky creatures from the afterlife into a lonely and broken world. You play as Sam Bridges, with a mission to bring hope back to people by linking the remaining survivors in a destroyed America.
