Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is coming to mobile with its bug-blasting bullet heaven action

Complete mission objectives, survive deadly encounters, and grow stronger as you delve deeper!

Story Highlights
  • Deep Rock Galactic Survivor offers survivor-style gameplay, a new Gear system, procedural caves and enemy waves, mission objectives to grow stronger, a top-down perspective, and more.
  • According to the App Store listing, this single-player spin-off is expected to launch on November 12.
  • You’ll be able to try it for free and also unlock the full game with a single purchase.

Ghost Ship Publishing has revealed that their single-player survivor-like auto-shooter, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, is set to launch this winter on mobile. After its solid debut on PC and Xbox Series this month, this mobile version, co-developed by Funday Games and Piktiv, is now open for pre-registration.

Prepare for a pure bullet-heaven madness as you battle lethal aliens as a drawf

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is finally making its way to mobile, keeping the same hardcore bullet-heaven chaos and throwing right into the action as a space dwarf. This spin-off of the beloved co-op FPS series lets you battle aliens, mine resources, and fight to survive, with a new perspective.

I really love the whole idea of one dwarf standing against everything Planet Hoxxes throws at him. You can enjoy mowing down bugs, upgrading gear, and also diving deeper into the caves. Plus, collecting new guns to blast through waves of monsters while grabbing shiny items sounds like a blast to me.

Players can explore the beloved universe and clear missions in a top-down view

What really grabs my attention for the most part is how every mission is unique, with procedurally generated caves and enemy waves, just like the original game. I still prefer the first-person version, but the idea of exploring the same universe from a top-down perspective has me hooked.

Now, if you’re a fan of the series, you should definitely look forward to this one. Between the auto-shooter action, unique biomes like Azure Weald and Magma Core, and the new Gear system, which lets you pick Armor, Weapon Mods, Gadgets, and Bosco’s chips, there’s a lot of promising content.
