SQUARE ENIX Co.,Ltd. has now opened pre-registrations for their new roguelite RPG, DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow, on both Android and iOS. This new entry to the iconic DRAGON QUEST series held a CBT in October 2025 and is now expected to launch on July 31, 2026 as per App Store’s listing.
Build your team with classic vocations and defeat monsters with Coup de Grâce attacks
So, DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow is a fresh roguelite RPG with fast-paced, intuitive combat. The story sends you on a journey to restore balance to the world, and I can’t wait to explore the dungeons alongside the mechanical ally Roly. Each run here feels different so I believe it won’t be boring.
One of the best part? We can use the signature Coup de Grâce attacks to clear enemy hordes in battles. The random Blessings also helps to grow your character and adapt to any situation. That said, if you like the classic vocations, here, you can build a team of them and even unlock tree nodes to enhance their abilities.
If you’re a social person, you can team up with 3 other players for co-op quests. Or, if you like solo challenges like me, you can take on monsters in the Gauntlette and formidable bosses in Shines, which will surely be fun. Overall, I feel this could be a great secondary title to relax after grinding on heavier ones like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang or PUBG.
DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow is now open for pre-registrations on both Android and iOS. So, you can go ahead and pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store. Plus, we can expect it to launch on July 31, 2026 as per App Store’s listing.
