eFootball 2025 has brought in a new update following your regular maintenance, and of course, there are a few new additions that you can keep an eye out for. From a new Nominating Contract to changes to PvP League, we have things to discuss in this eFootball 2025 March update.
eFootball 2025 March update: All new additions and changes explained
eFootball League changes
KONAMI has announced adjustments to the points required for promotion and relegation in the eFootball League, starting from Phase 7 on March 20, 2025. With this change, fewer points will be needed to move up or avoid dropping divisions.
This is pretty good in my opinion, many players would enjoy this as you won’t be frustrated with a lot of rating losses, especially in the case where you have a close game.
New Manager: G. P. Gasperini

The 24-25 version of Gasperini is here, and boy, this is a must-buy. Why? Because you have two of the most meta tactics in Quick Counter and Long Ball Counter added in this! Also, that Physical Contact buff is also a good addition. 500 coins, I’m sure most of you are having it.
Match Pass and Nominating Contract refresh
As usual, the Match Pass campaign lets you earn rewards by playing User Matches or VS AI Matches. There are three options: Regular, Value, and Premium Match Passes. The Regular Match Pass is free, while the Value and Premium versions need 400 and 800 eFootball Coins to unlock respectively, offering better rewards.
Match Pass Type | Bonus Player | Total Exp. | eFootball Coins | 3-Star NC | 4-Star NC | 5-Star NC |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Regular Match Pass | None | 124,000 | 30 | 1 | 2 | 1 |
Value Match Pass | Thomas Muller (Highlight) | 142,000 | 230 | 1 | 2 | 1 |
Premium Match Pass | Trent Alexander Arnold (Highlight) | 362,000 | 340 | 2 | 4 | 2 |
Speaking of Nominating contracts, we have a new “Pride of the Club” pack, again 6 players and this time, we do have a few notable names and surprise cards. I will surely drop a review in a day or two, so make sure to check it out.
New Epic, Show Time, and POTW Packs
As expected, more players arrive. The European Championships and POTW packs have some amazing picks, and those are the cards you need to eye for sure. Playing the AI events gives you one free try for each, so don’t miss out.
Speaking of Show Time, the National Guardians pack is all about defensive dominance. You’ve got Antonio Rudiger, Ronald Araujo, and Alexis Mac Allister, each with their own special Show Time skills. Rudiger gets the Fortress skill, whereas Araujo and Mac Allister get Aerial Fort and Visionary Pass respectively.

If you notice, there’s also the Turkey (Turkiye) pack available, and since we have an international break, we can expect packs from different countries to come in. The current pack has Arda Guler, Kerem Akturkoglu, and Semih Kilicsoy.
Then there’s the Epic Japan pack, featuring Shunsuke Nakamura, Yasuhito Endo, and Koji Nakata. The first two players get Blitz Curler and Visionary Pass respectively.
