KONAMI’s leading football title eFootball 2025 comes with a new v4.3.0 update in the game. Although they had already hinted at this being a basic update with not so many big features, I still see there are some interesting additions to discuss and experience. With a couple of new epics and more recycled cards, updates to licenses, and more, let us see what comes with the new version.
eFootball 2025 v4.3.0 update all details explained
Carnival Campaign
The Carnival Campaign is now live in eFootball which is usually a highly rewarding event. By completing Campaign Objectives, you can earn up to 500 eFootball Coins, while a special Challenge Event offers a Random Booster Token as an additional reward.
A unique Carnival-inspired Strip is also available during the event. Simply log in during the campaign period to claim this exclusive design. The Strip will remain in your Inbox until March 20, 2025, so make sure to collect it in time.
The campaign also features a Legend: Brazilian LEGENDS Challenge Event, where players can test their squads against AI teams based on a specific theme. Facing off against Superstar and Legend difficulty levels will grant up to 1x Random Booster Token and 20,000 Exp.
Ramadan Campaign
The Ramadan Campaign in eFootball is bringing a special set of players, this time highlighting FC Bayern Munchen. Similar to how we previously saw Arsenal and Barcelona players in out-of-position roles, this campaign follows the same trend. Alongside these special player cards, the event also offers exclusive avatar sets and a unique in-game strip.
The campaign runs until April 3, 2025, with new challenges being added in phases on February 27 and March 6. Completing all objectives will grant valuable rewards to strengthen your squad. By finishing all challenges, you can earn three FC Bayern Munchen Chance Deals, a special Ramadan ’25 Avatar Set, and 100 eFootball Coins. Additionally, a Random Booster Token, Skill and Position Training Programs, 132,000 Exp., and 250,000 GP are offered.
Updated Licenses
The main reason for this version update is the arrival of new licenses and updating the overall visuals. Bayer 04 Leverkusen has been added, and we get back the team that was in the official PES series. Thanks to that, the Xabi Alonso manager version is being made available, and their official kits are also now active. Adding to that, various licenses have been updated.
Liga BBVA MX has undergone a major overhaul, with its league name, emblems, strips, players, and managers replaced with original eFootball designs. The update also brings new season data updates for several leagues, including the Argentine League, Chilean League, Colombian League, American League, Korean League, MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE, and MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE. These leagues now reflect their latest team structures.
Gameplay and Region Updates
Other visual improvements include updates to team data, player photos, boots, stadium graphics, commentary, and more. This update introduces a few changes to improve gameplay and ensure compliance with certain regulations.
One of the key changes is that parental consent may now be required for players selecting certain countries or regions as their place of residence. Additionally, for those of you who are enjoying My League, progress and My League Points will be reset in some leagues.
New Player Skill: Acceleration Burst
A new Show Time skill has been added in Acceleration Burst. Based on this is the Epic: Acceleration Burst Neymar Jr epic card. This version of Neymar Jr, available via the Special Player List, will receive a Memorable Celebration after the next major update. Don’t be confused, now you can pull the player but not the celebration. He comes with Epic Yamal and Kubo cards, both with the same skill.
New Epic Cards
It looks like a big batch of new Epic players is coming soon, with nearly 40 expected to be added. However, based on the rumors, most of them seem to be older legendary players rather than fresh faces. But again, some of them are yet to get the double booster epics so I think that is fair.
There are only a few standouts among the new additions, with names like Lamine Yamal and Bukayo Saka being some of the more exciting ones for our fans. I expect them to be Show Time cards, but let us see how this will go.
