KONAMI has finally released the PES Datapack 4.0 update on 13th February, 2020, for both Console and Mobile, which was the most awaited update in the game, following their tease of face updates and changes which were to happen after the update. With most of them expected just the addition of new face updates and potential upgrades, KONAMI did surprise most of its users by dropping out new players in the form of LEGENDS, giving out some exciting MyClub updates (for Mobile) and also some revamp in the shop by dropping amazing offers, mainly targeting the newbies who are to explore the team.
So, in this article, we have tried to club all the major news from the PES Datapack 4.0 Update and inform many about the updates that happened.
New additions in PES Datapack 4.0 Update:
1. Player Faces
KONAMI teased the updates of faces in the game of some players namely Haaland, Rooney, Ibrahimovic and others in them being under a minute clip via their twitter account. These major changes were expected as players were not satisfied with how the Manually designed faces of some players spoiled the rhythm of the game because it made the games less exciting and irritating to watch. But after the PES Datapack 4.0 Update, around 50 players have their faces updated in game, make sure to check them out.

2. Player Upgrades
Many users expected this to happen anytime soon because many players in the club/national level performed exceptionally well for their respective teams. So, many expressed their opinions on how their in-game stats would not reflect their true potential in real life. These got a quick fix in the update, where players who had a good season were upgraded. Some notable upgrades are here as follows:

5. New Legends
Undoubtedly one of the biggest news and update that is being introduced with the PES Datapack 4.0 Update. KONAMI has released 26 Legends into the game, which are available in Special Agents, via Campaigns and Events. Not many had expected these many legends being brought into the game within a single Datapack because it wasn’t the case before. 6. Uniforms
New Uniforms have been introduced, with users getting an option to pick their third kit in game. This will be very attractive to watch and will give you a club-like feel. Bonus Uniforms can also be changed during matchdays as we can have upto 30 uniforms and 3 uniforms available before a match is started.
7. Items in Shop
KONAMI has introduced items in Shop, which includes Club Squads now for Sale. These packs involve the full updated squad for anytime use and 200 coins. The following clubs are included:
- MANCHESTER UNITED FC
- ARSENAL FC
- FC BARCELONA
- INTER
- AC MILAN
- JUVENTUS FC
- FC BAYERN MUNCHEN
These packs also include Bonus Uniforms, which are their Legendary Kits, so adding such kits will help you relive your club’s moments back again.
Another addition is the Coins + Bonus pack in Shop, which will give you 100 Coins, a Bonus FC Barcelona x Nike x 10R uniform and a Legend RONALDINHO Gaucho card.
8. Other information from the PES Datapack 4.0 Update
The PES Datapack 4.0 brought many other updates, which are as follows:

myClub Coins and GP
- New Login Page added.
- Changes made to make strip selection to make it easier and more intuitive.
- Changed the default Condition Rating for Legend players to “B”
- Relegations and promotions from Campeonato Brasileiro implemented in-game.
- Relegations and promotions from the TOYOTA Thai League implemented in-game. As a result, PTT Rayong’s in-game club name, strips and emblem have been replaced with generic assets.
- Relegations and promotions from J.League’s J1 and J2 Leagues implemented in-game. Because of this, clubs relegated to the J3 League have had their in-game club names, strips and emblems replaced with generic assets.
- Linking data now allows you to check your KONAMI ID account details in-game.
