Blackstorm, the devs of Rememento-White Shadow, has announced their new dynamic tag-team action RPG, Fairy Twins, which recently held a beta test on Android in the U.S and Canada. The game’s title is still tentative and can change in the future and there is no details yet regarding the official release.
Get ready to experience tag-team combat with adorable characters
Like many fans, I too wish the devs focus solely on Rememento—White Shadow, which temporarily suspended services last November for a relaunch, but here we’re with Fairy Twins. Now, this one’s a tag-team ARPG where two characters fight as one to reclaim forgotten memories.
Here, you can switch between the characters instantly mid-battle and use unique Tag Actions as you dive deeper into the Abyss. But don’t worry, as each character comes with unique combat styles and skills for you to master, and there’s the Chain Actions with exclusive synergies too.
You can strengthen bonds, unlock new synergies, experiment with loadouts, and more
With the bond system, your connection grows stronger the more you fight together with your strategic duos. And repeated runs and challenges let you experiment with diverse strategies with your combat performances and choices shaping each run with unique experiences.
So far, the game looks good with its seamless switching mechanic, distinct playstyles, infinite replayablitity, gear-based skills, tailored loadouts, skill synergies, fast-paced combat, adorable characters, and more. Now, I’m more interested in Rememento but I hope deliver this one properly too.
Fairy Twins recently held a beta test on Android in the U.S and Canada for the purpose of system checks and testing by the publisher. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the regional or global releases.
