Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 was the last season update in the game on the 8th of March, 2023, there is still a time of five weeks left until the new Chapter 4 Season 3 kicks in. As the time gets nearer to the release of Chapter 4 Season 3 in Fortnite, dataminers have found leaks of several new inclusions such as cosmetics, weapons, changes and more. These are usually the contents of the game files which are going to come in the upcoming update.
Despite leaks being revealed quite prior to the new season, players should take them with a grain of salt, as these features and cosmetics might change before being officially revealed by the developers of Fortnite.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Leaks: New biome and map changes
Along with the Reality Tree in Chapter Three Season Three, Epic Games have debuted a new massive biome. Dataminers have claimed that the upcoming season is anticipated to introduce a rainforest and perhaps have some kind of volcano aspect, so it appears that the developer may continue the theme from the previous season. This has led some people to believe that the game would soon have a desert theme.
Revealed in a tweet, it sees new cacti and palm trees might also be there, along with dirt that will slow down players who sprint through it. Whether there will be an event or merely a change in the map during downtime, it will be interesting to see what will lead to the sudden change in the map. Given that the area is already very crowded, it will be interesting to see where this additional biome is situated.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Leaks: New Battle Pass
Starting with the upcoming battlepass, there is a list of upcoming encrypted skins to arrive in the game. As revealed by a tweet from GMatrixGames, these include the likes of:
Skin codenames
- CinderMax
- CrispRover
- LoudPhoenix
- RippedHarvester
- SilentTempo
- ZirconSweep
These names being codenames don’t completely reveal the skins which are coming soon. There is a buzz that the new season might be Fire-themed, as there has been mention of words like “Cinder” “Crisp” and “Phoenix”.
Summer Meowscles and female survey skin
Players can also see the Summer Meowscles skin sliding on the vine in the image and the leaked female survey skin riding a Raptor. This suggests that these skins will feature in the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, and also that the Raptors will be returning.
New surfboard vehicle
Another tweet from FNChiefAko states similar things about the biome changes but also points to a new surfboard vehicle that will hover above the ground. This looks similar to the past hoverboard vehicle in Fortnite. This will be a new skin in the game and potentially unique effects.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Leaks: Transformers collaboration
Leaks are suggesting that Optimus Prime, one of the protagonists of the Transformers series, is coming soon. As revealed in a tweet, the leaks seem right as the upcoming Transformers movie releases on the 9th of June, 2023, which is the same day as the release of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. Players are excited to play as Optimus Prime in Fortnite.
