Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royale games. Players need to fight amongst each other on an island and survive till the end to become the winner. Reality Augment was first introduced in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 and now leaks suggest it might not have been a one-time thing after all.
Legendary Augments might be coming in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
One of the popular data miners, GMatrixGames, who keeps on digging through the game files has come up with new information. He has claimed that a new type of Reality Augment will be introduced in the next season by the name of Legendary Augments. It is not yet known by anyone what the Augment will work like. But game files reveal it might be related to spawning after death, Shield Increase, and Siphon.
Reality Augments give players temporary perks in the game
When Reality Augments were introduced in Chapter 4 Season 1. These help the players gain temporary perks and abilities. This can help them gain an advantage over other players and might very well be the reason for their winning. All of it depends on the players’ strategy and how nicely they can use the perk they have come across.
But some people are concerned that these new Reality Augments might be overkill and might ruin the fairness of the game. It’s because respawning after death is a very overpowered ability and it might make the game less competitive and fun. Now only time will tell how well the developers can implement this new feature into the game when the new season arrives after March 8, 2023.
