The Most Wanted event in Fortnite has begun with the arrival of v23.40 update, and there are several cosmetic items to unlock in order to obtain free skin. It won’t be simple as players will have to take on a number of tasks over the next two weeks. Players have until February 28, 2023, to complete it.
Grab new exotic weapons during the Fortnite Most Wanted Event
These brand-new exotic weapons are exclusive to the Most Wanted event and can only be obtained by defeating the bosses defending each Cold Blooded Vault or using Vault Keycards at those locations.
- Heisted Breacher Shotgun – Perfect for destroying walls and cover.
- Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle – Fires explosive projectiles.
- Heisted Accelerant Shotgun – Increases movement speed and fire rate as players damage enemies.
- Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG – Infuses players with Slap and self-reloads while sprinting.
- Heisted Blink Mag SMG – Grants Zero Dash ability after reloading.
There will also be a number of returning weapons during the event:
- Hand Cannon
- Dual Pistols
- Heavy Sniper
- Hop Rock Dualies
- Suppressed Pistol
- Boom Sniper Rifle
Motorboats, Bows, and Bow-related Reality Augments will be excluded from Battle Royale/Zero Build for the duration of Fortnite Most Wanted.
Raise Heat Levels for additional benefits
Every match played during the Fortnite Most Wanted event will have a Heat Level, which can be seen as flame icons in the HUD. Each time players defeat a rival, unlock a vault, or use a burner payphone in a Cold Blooded-controlled section of the map, this level will rise. This can be both advantageous and disadvantageous. On the bright side, players will get some cool bonuses with each level, but they’ll make them more noticeable to enemies and appear on the minimap.
- Heat Level 1 – Eliminated opponents drop additional bars.
- Heat Level 2 – Increases movement speed by 15%, and you’ll regenerate up to 100 health out of combat.
- Heat Level 3 – Increases movement speed by 20%, and you’ll regenerate up to 100 health and 50 shields out of combat.
- Heat Level 4 – Increases movement speed by 25%, and you’ll regenerate up to 100 health and 100 shields out of combat.
Fortnite v23.40 update brings new Reality Augments
Players can take advantage of the Reality Augments that made their debut in Fortnite v23.40 update. which do not require unlocking.
- Exotic Grab Bag: Receive a random Heisted Exotic weapon. his Reality Augment will remain until downtime for v23.50.
- Sniper Surplus: Sniper Rifles will have 1 extra ammo in their magazine. This Reality Augment will remain until downtime for v23.50.
- Keymaster: Grants two Keys for opening Holo-Chests. During Fortnite Most Wanted, Exotic Holo-Chests contain a Heisted Exotic.
- Last Shots: The last two bullets of Pistols’ magazines deal bonus damage.
Complete the most wanted quests to earn amazing cosmetics
To obtain all of the cosmetics, players must accomplish tasks that will become available as the event progresses. Players will receive a Cold Blooded Medallion for each set of challenges they complete, and they will need all five of them to access the additional Solid Skull back jewelry.
Players may acquire a ton of limited-time cosmetics during the Most Wanted event, but they will need to raise their Infamy level to get them all. They can earn Infamy by completing Most Wanted Quests and if they want to win the Gold Blooded Ace skin as the ultimate reward, they must complete every challenge.
Secure a spot in the Most Wanted List to earn additional rewards
Participate in the Most Wanted Leaderboards Challenge for the opportunity to earn even more rewards. Crack open as many Cold Blooded Vaults as you can after the leaderboards go live. The Most Wanted Leaderboards Challenge website launches on February 16, 2023, ET. The in-game rewards that can be earned from the Most Wanted Leaderboards Challenge are the GG Flamed Emoticon, Live to Ride Spray, Retro Rivals Wrap, and Clean Getaway Loading Screen.
