The latest version of Fortnite, update 25.30, has been released across all gaming platforms. This new update brings the universe of Jujutsu Kaisen into the battle royale realm. This collaboration commences through the initiation of the Break the Curse event. Within this event, players are granted the opportunity to acquire cursed techniques, obtain cosmetic items, and access various rewards by accomplishing in-game quests.

Cursed llamas roam freely across the island. If one of these llamas is shattered, they yield a pair of accursed skills: the Straw Doll Technique and the Hollow Technique: Purple.
- Straw Doll Technique: The Straw Doll Technique represents a rapid sequence of hammer strikes, propelling nails infused with malevolent energy. This methodology can be employed to firmly secure a victory.
- Hollow Technique: Purple: Frequently called by the name “Purple,” the cursed methodology represents a covert amalgamation of cursed skills, which eradicates structures within its trajectory and inflicts gradual harm upon adversaries.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration: Break The Curse! quest overview
The event is titled Break the Curse! is a mini-Battle Pass that revolves entirely around the theme of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series. The functioning of this event is akin to the Find the Force event, which featured the mini-Battle Pass centered on the Star Wars franchise.
Participants are required to accomplish Break the Curse! missions in order to obtain Cursed Energy. This earned energy facilitates a gradual unlocking of various Jujutsu Kaisen items as well as Level Up Tokens. As the event progresses, further Grades will become accessible, consequently making more quests available. A total of five Grades will be provided to players:
- The Grade 4 Quests are live starting now.
- The Grade 3 Quests go live on August 10 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 2 Quests go live on August 15 at 9 AM ET.
- The Grade 1 Quests and Special Grade Quests go live on August 17 at 9 AM ET.
Upon successful completion of each grade, players will receive a Sorcerer Grade token. Upon accumulating five of these tokens, they will receive an extra special reward. The Break the Curse! event dedicated to Jujutsu Kaisen will be active until 2 AM ET on August 25, 2023. This grants fans the opportunity to engage in quests and amass rewards until the conclusion of Chapter 4 Season 3.
Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration: Break The Curse! quest rewards
At the Break the Curse event, participants have the option to finalize the Standard Reward Track without charge, or they possess the alternative to procure the Premium Reward Track for 1,000 V-Bucks, consequently achieving supplementary incentives. The acquisition of the Premium Reward Track is feasible for players by opting for the Upgrade selection situated at the lower right corner of the Break the Curse! section.
When this action is accomplished, they will promptly be granted the Streetwear Yuji Itadori outfit and will be granted admission to the last row of the reward track.
