Fortnite is back with another Naruto crossover event called Fortnite x Naruto Rivals! featuring skins of favorite characters from the anime. Leakers speculate that this time Epic Games will bring the skins of Itachi, Gaara, Hinata, and Orochimaru. Itachi Uchiha has the biggest fan base so it kind of makes sense to bring him to Fortnite.
This crossover will bring a lot of new audiences for Fortnite that being said a lot of loopers who aren’t as big fans of Naruto did show disapproval and condemned Fortnite for giving over-emphasis to the particular anime. Fortnite is the only battle royale where players get a chance to equip skins as popular as Naruto so Fortnite is back to surprise the looper and here’s everything we know so far about the crossover.
Fortnite x Naruto: Rivals crossover might feature Akatsuki or Team 8 bundle
According to the announcement, the crossover is all set to go live on June 23. Epic Games always kept their mouth tight regarding the firm details of the crossover, but the leakers are here to feed the curiosity among the loopers. The whole series of speculations started after the below shown Japanese magazine got surfaced online. This magazine featured Hinata, Gaara, Itachi Uchiha, and Orochimaru with Fortnite symbols on it.
The project is called Rivals and players speculate that there will be an Akatsuki bundle or a Team 8 bundle. All the four members don’t quite blend in together as Hinata is a member of Team 8. Itachi and Orochimaru are members of the Akatsuki clan, while Gaara is Sunagakure’s Fifth Kazekage. So at the moment, it’s hard to judge what plans Epic Games has for the loopers with this weirdly awesome combination.
Fortnite is working on a new trail website codenamed Kawaii 2
Since April 2020 Fortnite has been working on a trail website codenamed Kawaii 2. Kawaii was the codename for the original Naruto Trials website, so now as the crossover is confirmed we are sure that loopers will get a series of Nindo Challenges websites, which will help loopers to get their fill of rewards and XP.
This announcement caused a flood of emotions among the Naruto fans while as seen a few loopers weren’t as happy because Fortnite hasn’t considered other popular animes like AOT and Demon slayer which has a huge fan base. But we are sure Epic games must be having something in their mind for the fans of other animes.
