After an eventful Day 1 and Day 2, gamescom asia 2024 continued the excitement and even took it further with some entertaining events for the fans and viewers alike on Day 3. Singapore’s Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre witnessed a thrilling lineup of events and sessions, from CAPCOM‘s showcase to meet-and-greets, so here’s a recap of the day’s highlights from my end.

CAPCOM’s Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Tournament Kicks Off

The entertainment area buzzed with the CAPCOM’s Pro Tour 2024 Super Premier Tournament. With an outstanding first day on the 19th of October, 2024, tomorrow’s finals will surely be a fascinating display among the top 16 contenders fighting for a place in the coveted position of CAPCOM Cup 11 in Street Fight 6.

Exclusive Meet-and-Greets with J-Pop magic

In addition, there were various meet-and-greet sessions with some notable names. Alongside Ryozo Tsujimoto, visitors could interact with Andrew Wincott, the voice of Raphael of Baldur’s Gate 3, J-pop singer-songwriter SHIHORI, and cosplayer Xiaoyukiko. Fans were able to ask for photographs, and signatures, and engage with their gaming idols.

J-pop fans were treated to a mesmerizing performance by SHIHORI, whose enchanting blend of J-pop and gaming themes thrilled the audience. Her dynamic stage presence and heartfelt vocals created a captivating atmosphere that left fans wanting more.

Indie Developers from around the world shine

The showfloor showcased over 60 indie games, providing attendees with a chance to explore diverse titles. Singaporean gems like Dim Sum Games’ Fables and Tactics and Springloaded’s Let’s Build a Dungeon drew impressive crowds.

Games From Spain introduced Asian gamers to exciting new experiences, providing a taste of what their country has to offer. For those unable to attend, the games are also available on the gamescom asia 2024 landing page on Steam.

Stamp Rally Lucky Draw tested some luck

The Stamp Rally Lucky Draw brought joy to attendees with a chance to win exciting prizes, including a PlayStation 5 and a Martiangear gaming chair. For those who missed today’s draw, there’s still time to participate tomorrow for a final chance at these fantastic rewards.

Inside the world of Street Fighter 6

Fans got some special insights from Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto, while Monster Hunter Wilds Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, took fans through an inside look at the development behind two of their favorite franchises.
