Genshin Impact, the open-world RPG has been one of the biggest hits in mobile gaming. Genshin Impact fans are eagerly waiting for the leaks for the upcoming content of the 2.3 update, especially the banners so that they can save precious primogems to be able to obtain their favorite characters. While in the past, miHoYo has taken stern action against leakers, data miners and leakers have still found ways to reveal information about the upcoming patch.

Genshin Impact 2.3 Leaks: New Characters
miHoYo has been revealed two characters for the next patch on their social media handles. They have announced one 5-star character and one 4-star character, leaving one banner without a 5-star. Since the 5-star has not been announced, it is guaranteed to be a rerun banner and data miners have hinted at the character being Albedo.
Arataki Itto
Arataki Itto, a 5-star Geo Claymore wielder is the deputy of the Arataki Gang. Some eagle-eyed fans have found info about him in various notice boards across Inazuma. His vision was taken by Kujou Sara when she defeated her, travellers are eagerly waiting for his story quest to commence to know all the details regarding the lore.
Gorou
Gorou, a part of the Inazuma resistance army is a 4-star Geo bow-wielding character. Gorou synergizes well with Itto. Since both are geo characters players can make use of Geo resistance for added damage potential.
Albedo
Albedo, a chief alchemist and captain of the investigation team of Knights of Favonious, was last seen in Patch 1.2 Update. Albedo is a 5-star Geo sword character who is an easy-to-play support character and pairs well with Geo characters for providing resonance and also acts as an elemental energy battery.
New World Boss
Golden Wolflord
Patch 2.2 introduced Rifthounds and with the 2.3 updates, a powerful new world boss will be added to Teyvat. Golden Wolflord is the leader of Rifthound and Rifthound Whelps, where he deals massive Geo damage. The beast has the ability to summon minions who can generate gusting winds and devastating explosions. He also applies corrosion status similar to Rifthounds. He will be introduced to the players via an event coming with the next patch and he is speculated to be on Tsurumi Island as per data miners.
Fel Whoopflower
An oversized Whooperflower, who utilizes the power of Cryo is being added to the game, is known as Fel Whooperflower. It is being introduced with the upcoming Dust and Shadowed Snow event.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Leaks: New Weapons and Artifacts
Two new weapons are being introduced with the next patch. The first one is Itto’s signature weapon, Redhorn Stonethresher The other free 4-star weapon is suited for Albedo.
Cinnabar Spindle is Albedo’s signature 4-star weapon that will be available for free, during the Dust and Shadowed Snow event.
Divine Chorus
This artifact set is focused on characters whose kits revolve around healing and is a good set for Sangonomiya Kokomi.
The two pc bonus increases all healings by 15%. On equipping four pc, all healing effects will generate a Healing Bubble up to once per 3.5 seconds.
Husk of Opulent Dreams
The set is designed for Arataki Itto as the 2 pc bonus provides an increase in DEF by 30%. A 4 pc bonus grants Geo damage bonus by 6% and also increases Def by 6% for the on-field character. When off-field, one stack is gained per three seconds. When new stacks are not gained, the buff loses one stack every six seconds.

Dust and Shadowed Snow
Players will return to Dragonspine for this event and will take part in various activities ranging from exploration to fighting mobs. Players will be avail a 4-star weapon for free on completing certain challenges in the event.
Realm of Light
Realm of Light is a rerun of Patch 1.5 event, Misty Dungeon. Players enter a dungeon with trial characters that vary in every stage.
New Hangout Events
Hangout events are special Story Quests that can be replayed and have multiple endings. With Patch 2.3, players will have access to two such quests for Beidou and Gorou. This will assist travelers to get to know these characters in-depth. To unlock each hangout event, players need to use 2 story keys. Each story quest is unlocked by completing eight commissions.
Genshin Impact 2.3 Update: Release Date
Genshin Impact has been following a six-week update cycle. The release date of Patch 2.2 was around October 13, 2021. The next patch’s potential release date is estimated to be the 24th of November, 2021.
