Speculations were high amongst Genshin Impact players about the arrival of a new character in the game’s roster of playable characters. Now the leaks suggest that a new character named Rosaria will be arriving in Genshin Impact 1.4 patch update. She first appeared during Albedo’s story quest back in patch 1.2, and since then, she has been on many players’ wish list. And now finally she is expected to arrive in the game permanently.
About Rosaria
Rosaria is a Cryo polearm user and a member of the church of favonious in mondstat. She is a tall adult female with ghostly pale white skin. Moreover, she has choppy wine-colored hair cut short in the back, with some strands of her bangs colored a darker red. Rosaria has pale magenta eyes with light pink irises, and noticeable bags under her eyes.
What are Rosaria’s attacks in the game?
- Normal Attack: Performs up to five consecutive spear strikes.
- Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to lunge forward, dealing damage to opponents along the way.
- Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Rosaria’s Elemental skill and burst
Ravaging Confession: Rosaria swiftly shifts her position to appear behind her target, then pierces and slashes it with her polearm, dealing Cyro DMG. This ability cannot be used to travel behind opponents of a larger build. Those who confess to Sister Rosaria will be granted no absolution. all sinners shall be met with the piercing cold of punishment proportionate to the weight of their sins.
Last Rites: Rosaria’s signature act of prayer and her elemental burst. after swinging her weapon to slash nearby opponents, she summons a frigid ice lance that strikes the ground, dealing with Cryo DMG both times. While active, the Ice Lance will periodically release cold air, dealing Cryo DMG to the surrounding opponents. Judgment is such a bothersome ordeal, so it is best to skip it and move directly to the last rites. Rosaria was never devoted to the Anemo God anyway, and this makes performing them all too easy.
Passive Talents of Rosaria in Genshin Impact
Night Walk
This skill increases the Movement speed of your own party members by 10% during the night time. However, it does not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss. Moreover, it is not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects.
Extracted Confession
When Rosaria strikes an opponent from behind using Ravaging Confession, Rosaria’s CRIT Rate increases by 12% for 5 seconds.
Shadow Samaritan
Casting Last Rites increases the CRIT Rate of all nearby party members (except Rosaria herself) by 15% of Rosaria’s CRIT Rate for 10 seconds. CRIT Rate Bonus gained this way cannot exceed 15%.
Constellations of Rosaria in the game
Unholy Revelation
When Rosaria deals a CRIT Hit, her Attack Speed increases by 10% and her Normal Attack Damage increases by 10% for 44 seconds.
Land Without Promise
The duration of the lce Lance created by Last Rites is increased by 4 seconds in this constellation.
Sacrament of Penance
Increases the Level of Ravaging Confession By 3 seconds. Maximum upgrade level is 15 in this constellation.
Amazing Disgrace
Ravaging Confession’s Crit can regenerate 5 Energy for Rosaria. Moreover, it can only be triggered once each time Ravaging Confession is cast.
Extreme Unction
Increases the Level of Last Rites by 3 seconds. Maximum upgrade level is 15 in this constellation.
Divine Retribution
Last Rites’ attack decreases opponents’ Physical Resistance by 5% for 10 seconds. You can have only maximum of 4 stacks in this constellation.
When will new character arrive in Genshin Impact?
There is no definite release date declared by the devs as of yet, but the players are expecting Rosaria to be available by the time the 1.4 patch arrives in a few months in the game.
