Shenhe will be accompanied by “Coordinates of Clear Frost” Mika (cryo/polearm), a new 4* character. “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (anemo/catalyst), and “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (cryo/bow) will also join them. All of them will receive a huge drop rate boost.

Among these, “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (anemo/catalyst), and “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (cryo/bow) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates. “Coordinates of Clear Frost” Mika will be added to the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation starting from version 3.6.

Genshin Impact version 3.5 Phase II second character banner: The Heron’s Court

Ayaka will be accompanied by “Coordinates of Clear Frost” Mika (cryo/polearm), a new 4* character, as well as “Harmless Sweetie” Sucrose (anemo/catalyst), and “Kätzlein Cocktail” Diona (cryo/bow). All of them will receive a huge drop rate boost.

This banner also features the event exclusive 4* weapon Wine and Song (catalyst), as well as Sacrificial Sword (sword), The Bell (claymore), Favonius Lance (polearm), and Favonius Warbow (bow). All of these weapons will receive a huge drop rate boost.

Final Thoughts

Ayaka was one of the most hyped characters during her release because she was part of the Beta before the official release of Genshin Impact. A lot of players were aware of her existence and her kit and were waiting for her to become playable. The current META heavily prefers Dendro-related reactions, and Cryo not having any reaction to Dendro has affected its recent popularity. However, Cryo is not leaving the Genshin META anytime soon.

It is never a wrong time to pull for Ayaka, it’s just the current META is not catering to Freeze at all. However, that might change with the release of Fontain and Freeze might reach the top of the META once again. There is no loss in pulling for Ayaka if players choose to do so.

Shenhe is a rather luxurious character since she only works with a handful of characters. Among the two 5* Cryo DPS characters in Genshin Impact, only Ayaka uses her in her best team Ganyu’s best team is Ganyu-Venti-Mona-Diona and there is no need for a Cryo buffer in that team since it is already ridiculously overpowered in AOE scenarios. That said, it is possible to build a Ganyu team with Shenhe.

The point is, Shenhe is only worth pulling if players at least have one 5* Cryo DPS. If players do not have Ganyu or Ayaka, they are advised against pulling for Shenhe.

As for the featured 4* characters, Sucrose is one of the best 4* characters ever. While her crowd control abilities are not as powerful and reliable as Kazuha or Venti, she makes up for it with the ability to buff her teammates’ EM and cause constant Swirl reactions. She is irreplaceable in teams that use her as a driver.

Diona is one of the best 4* Cryo characters with the ability to provide shield, healing, and battery abilities all at the same time. Mika has the potential to be a great support for Physical DPS characters like Eula and Razor since his kit revolves around buffing Physical DMG. All that said, it is not advisable to pull on a banner just for the 4* characters since there is a possibility of accidentally getting a 5* character.

As for the weapon banner, Mistsplitter Reforged is the best sword for almost any DPS character. It is also a top choice for Bennett as it allows him to provide a greater ATK buff. Calamity Queller is also an amazing weapon with a rather unusually high base ATK. It works well with any ATK scaling character.

Among the featured 4* weapons, all of them excluding The Bell and Wine and Song are highly sought-after weapons for support characters. That said, it is not advisable to pull on the weapon banner just for the 4* weapons. Only pull on this banner if you have Primogems to spare.
